Shower doors are basically a fungible product. Different suppliers have different names for their glass types and treatments, but they`re basically all the same, and the price range is fairly narrow for comparable products. I chose McGough Glass because from the first time I walked in the door they sold me on their ability to have the doors made, delivered and installed faster than their competition. (Specifically... view more, they tell you that if the order goes in on Tuesday, they will be manufactured and delivered by the next Tuesday.) But for that I would probably have purchased elsewhere. I planned the tile installation around meeting that Tuesday deadline, and we met it. They measured for the doors and put in the order, and scheduled the installation for the following Wednesday. I rescheduled appointments to be home for the installation and spent extra money to make sure I also had shower trim installed by the time the doors were here. Then Wednesday rolled around, and I got a call from McGough telling me that they`re sorry, but the doors won`t be in for another week. I told them that the worst thing a business can do is make promises it can`t keep, and the second worst thing a business can do is to not fix its mistakes. So far, I`ve seen no effort to fix it.
