Reviews:
The one that interested us had a broken power seat. We wer... view moree told that the problem would be reported to management. We said we liked the vehicle and would get back with them. We told them that we`d need to buy a vehicle by the next weekend.
That next Friday we called Stanley to check on the status of this vehicle as we remained interested in it. Not only had the power seat not been repaired, it was likely that they couldn`t even manage it until the next Tuesday, well past our deadline. Furthermore, word from the owner was that they would not agree to repair the seat UNLESS we agreed to buy it; otherwise, the owner planned to ""get rid of the vehicle"" like it was garbage. We felt like we were being held hostage, and, even though this vehicle was our top choice, we took our business elsewhere.
Most other dealerships were quick to offer repairs on issues we found with used vehicles. One called us within a couple of hours of leaving their lot to tell us that they`d taken the car to the body shop within minutes of us leaving. And of all the dealerships we visited, this was the ONLY one that didn`t offer CarFax.
The question here is WHY? The behavior of this dealership certainly indicates that they are NOT customer-focused. They care ONLY about their own troubles, self-interests, and bottom line. Why would anyone want to shop there?
Our advice? Avoid this dealership.
