I went in for an oil change an...

I went in for an oil change and brought my battery holding harness because I was missing a nut. After the oil change the mechanic saw the harness in my hand and said he`d install it, but he said it in a way that seemed like he was going to do it for free. Instead, he charged me $13 for the 2 minute job. I could bolt down two nuts with my eyes closed and both hands behind my back. Essentially, the nut cost me $13. The... view morese guys are crooks.

Poor Service, Rude, and Expensive

I had my Ford F150 towed to the shop at Brooks and they diagnosed the issue as an alternator problem. After $350, the alternator was installed and the car still wouldn`t start. They claimed that it was the battery. So I asked that they install a new battery and replace the new alternator with my original one. After all was said and done, they charged me for the installation and removal of the new alternator and for t... view morehe re-installation of my old alternator. When I complained about the charge and argued that it was their fault for misdiagnosing the issue, they said, ""We don`t work for free here."" After $835 charge I will never...ever...return.

Great Expert Advice!

My car is a 2001 Chevy Malibu and wouldn`t start. It was broken down in my garage and I was looking at towing on top of fixing it. I have to say I was pretty depressed. I looked around my area and saw several auto repair companies. But having research them all, this company had the highest rating and no complaints. I called to arrange for them to tow by car and take a look at it. On the phone the mechanic asked... view more me the symptoms. I told him and he asked me to put the key in the ignition and tell him if ""Theft System"" was ""Flashing""... I didn`t recall whether it was with the key engaged, but when I checked it ""was"". He then told me to open the window and leave the key on the ""accessory"" setting for 15mins. I did... the flashing went away.... and ""THE CAR STARTED""!!!

I researched this issue and people have spent several hundreds of dollars with this issue (towing, repairs). This repair shop is truly the most honest and helpful company I`ve come across! They are getting ALL of my car repair/maintenance work in the future!
