I`ve been a customer of this establishment for over 10 years - Merlin`s of Country Club Hills. However, in recent years, customer service has continued to decline with the hiring of auto technicians who are not skilled on the basics of mechanics. Recently, a significant error was made while servicing my vehicle and I ended up paying my dealership a whopping $3,800 to correct the error that Merlin`s unequivocally... view more made. What was supposed to be a simple fluid change for Merlin`s, turned into a nightmare for me! Long story short, the wrong fluid was put into my truck and it completely messed up the entire system. Although Merlin`s is the one who initially pointed out the fact that my fluid needed to be changed, they now state that I was the one who brought my truck in with the wrong fluid. I was shocked and completely at a loss for words at the blatant lies that are being told to cover up their mistake. I came into their shop for something totally unrelated and never expected to go through anything like this. After dealing with their unresponsive insurance company, I will end up taking this through the court system. As a consumer, please be sure to pay attention as to what`s going on while your vehicle is being serviced and document everything!
