Horrible, rip off artists!

I went in for an oil change and mentioned that my brakes seemed to be sticking. They said they would check the problem out. They called and said they would need to keep the car overnight and that I could pick it up in the morning. The next morning they called about the time I was supposed to pick up the car and said they had discovered another problem. I was lead to believe that this was included in the cost they... view more had already quoted me for the new brake pads. When I went to pick up my car that afternoon I had to wait another hour and a half. When I got the final bill it was close to $2500.00! The extra work they quoted me was also an extra charge. THE most expensive ""oil change"" ever! I am never going back. After reading these other reviews, I feel vindicated. Obviously I am not the only one who had been scammed by these rip off artists.

I`m taking my business elsewhere

I have been going here off and on for the past several years, as I live locally. The main reason I go here is because the price is reasonable for an oil change when I use their credit card discount. I`ve bought tires in the past. But every time.... I leave with a bad taste in my mouth. Every time I come in they try to talk me into doing work on the car that I know it doesn`t need. I only trust my car service to... view more the Auto Clinic - they always do good work, at a fair price, and only tell me what I absolutely have to change. Firestone gives me a list every time I change my oil of everything I need to do fix, and they clearly are trying to take advantage of me (can we say female customer?). The last time I brought my car in for an oil change I had just completed my 70K check-up at the Auto Clinic and everything was perfect. Firestone gave me a list of $1500 worth of repairs/updates that I needed! I told them how could my car be having all of those problem, when I just got 70k fix-up and everything was replaced that needed to be. Sheepishly.... they just said, ""Oh, sorry.... maybe not...."". Today was just their usual dysfunction. Called ahead to make an appointment for an oil change. ""Nothing`s going on.... come in anytime."" I told them my name and that I`d be there by 3pm. I arrived early at 2:30 and they said I would need to wait 1-1.5hrs until they be able to start working on my car. Really? That was it for me. My time is too valuable. And why work with people that just want to take advantage of you, even if the price is ok..... So I canceled my Firestone card today and wont be back.

AWFUL STAFF, AWFUL WORK, SOLD UN-NEEDED SERVICES. GOING HERE WILL DESTROY YOUR FINANCIAL LIFE. LIARS THIEVES, UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES. never again

Had gotten tires there in the past, people seemed very nice... so when the car needed more work I took it back to them... bad idea! they did work that was not needed and didn`t fix the problem that i had brought it in for ... they had me bring it back 4 times and still not fixed. in the end they told me that i had never stated the problem and the work they did was preventitve maintiance.. so long story short i am o... view moreut a lot of money and my car still has the same problem.

Understaffed, who cares

I scheduled an appointment to get a coolant flush among other things. I had to wait over an hour past my appointment before they even started the work. I heard the manager complaining about employees not showing up multiple times. The store was clean, the prices are comparable to what you find elsewhere, but the place was understaffed. Why did I bother to make an appointment? I left concerned that they did a half-... view moreassed job. The manager kept checking in the garage to get the mechanics to put a move on it, but the mechanics were visably moseying along. I MIGHT go back and give them a second chance for something routine like an oil change if I had a coupon for it. I wouldn`t trust them with large repairs.
