From the moment you step on our lot until the time you drive away in your next car, your buying experience with South Chicago Auto Auction of Harvey is our number one priority. Who can attend? ?ˆ? Anyone can attend and admission is free. What kind of used cars are sold at the auction? ?ˆ? South Chicago Auto Auction of Harvey has practically every make and model, foreign and domestic. We have used cars, trucks, vans & suv`s. How can I see what I am getting? ?ˆ? Before each auction you have 1 hour to view the cars on the lot. Each car is driven to to the auction block where you can also view it while it is running. It`s your responsibility to make sure the vehicle has all the desired options you want in a car such as automatic or standard transmission. All cars are sold as-is. How does the public used car auction work? ?ˆ? When the car you want to buy comes to the auction block, the auctioneer will start the bid. If the price is right for you raise your hand. An auction staff member will make sure the auctioneer hears your price. The highest bidder over the reserve price gets the car. All sales are final. There are no transfers or refunds. What do I need to take my car? ?ˆ? You must pay the full balance due. We will issue you a temporary registration permit or arrange to have your plates transferred. There is free registration, parking and admission. We are not affiliated with any government agency or office. When can I take my car home? ?ˆ? You can pick up your car Monday or Tuesday between the hours of 9am to 5pm from Saturday auctions and Thursday from 9am to 5pm from Wednesday auctions. How do I pay for the car? ?ˆ? You must put a 25% deposit down the day of the auction. The balance must be paid when you pick up the car. Auction hours are as follows. Saturday: Viewing 11am - 12am Auction 12 till the end of auctioning. Wednesday: Viewing 5pm to 6pm Auction 6pm till the end of auctioning. The majority of our inventory starts under $2,000!
