I was in jdm when IL girl brought her car in, she refused to pay for diagnosis on her car and insisted that they replace the starter. Maybe if she paid their techs to propery diagnose her problem she would not have had the second no start. Don`t go to JDM

My car would not start, it sounded like a starter problem. After paying $100 to get my car to JDM they put a starter in, charged me $375 and sent me on my way. Little did I know that 3 days later I would be stuck again with the same problem. My car would not start!! When they looked at the car again they found out that it was a bad cable (Not a bad starter that they charged me to replace 3 days ago!). I asked them wh... view morey they did not find the bad cable the first time, (a logical question!). I was told that I said to put a starter in so that is what they did. They did not even look to see what was wrong!!!! Again I payed $100 to get my car there and $70 for a cable. I don`t know about you but I will never let these people touch my car again. THEY DO NOT DO THE JOB!!! My suggestion to JDM is to figure out what is wrong with a car before replacing and charging for new parts!!

What customer service?

My car would not start, so I towed it to JDM and told them that I thought it was the starter. They replaced the starter and I picked the car up. 3 days later (to my surprise) my car would not start. Same ticking noise same thing that I thought JDM told me they fixed. I paid yet again to tow my car to JDM and at that time they inform me that it is a cable that is bad (not the starter that I already paid them to replac... view moree). When I asked the supervisor why they replaced the starter the only reason they could provide is that I told them to replace the starter, and that is why they replaced it (not because they checked the starter and the starter was bad). I must be stupid because I thought that when you bring your car into a shop the shops job is to figure out why the car is not working. $700 later my car is fixed, with a part that I could have bought at the store for $20. I fell that I was taken advantage of and I hope that anyone that reads this review will listen and not allow JDM to take advantage of you.
