What a joke of a dealership!!!
Misleading, unprofessional and liars are the first words that come to mind when thinking about my dealings with Brad Barker Honda. I negotiated over the telephone the sales price and financing contingent on an inspection and test drive of the vehicle. I was told that the vehicle was "in great condition". According to the salesman, the only issue was a couple of small dings that did not break the paint and could su... view morerely be removed using a paintless dent removal. He took some pics and emailed them to me (I can see how he purposely concealed all of the issues now). I rented a one way rental car and drove three hours from Milwaukee, WI to Bloomington, IL with the intention of driving the vehicle home. When I arrived, the salesman showed me the vehicle and it was absolute garbage. At least a dozen very noticeable dings that penetrated the paint including a 10 inch round "swirl scratch" in the hood. The interior was extremely dirty, the leather was discolored and it looked like a pot of coffee was spilled on the front passenger seat and rear seating area and never cleaned up. The vehicle was a piece of junk that I would never have my wife drive. It was an 04 with only 40K miles on it. It looked like a vehicle from the 90`s with 200K miles on it. I got irate and tore the salesman and the so called manager a new a**hole for severely misrepresting the condition of the vehicle. They thought I would take the car regardless of the condition because I drove down there..... no thanks. He actually offered to shake my hand after all of that. I refused and told him to get me out of here because I don`t want their junk. He must have been offended about the handshake. They proceeded to try and get an attitude with me and kick me out of the dealership. I was leaving anyway so no problem there. The guys are lucky though that my wife is 9 months pregnant because under the conditions I would have leveled the manager for pulling that kind of bull on me. It was a really bad misrepresentation - not even close. I`m a pretty level headed guy, but it was so bad that, I actually thought about smashing my rental car into some of their vehicles on my way out since I had the full coverage on the rental.....haha. I put in a follow up telephone call to the owner Brad Barker himself and even left him a voicemail message to have him call me to discuss the situation. He never called. Apparently the don`t know how to stand up for themselves or behind their vehicles either. My suggestion would be to avoid the place like the plague.
