I scheduled my 2007 FJR for the factory recall on the ignition switch. They said sure and gave me a date out about a week out. I show up as scheduled and leave the FJR. A few hours into the workday I get a call from Leipolds explaining that we don?ˆ™t have the parts, So disappointed and looking to get something done out of this effort I hesitate but ask to have the engine oil changed. They say sure it will be done thi... view mores evening. I show after work at the service desk ready to settle up for the oil and get a bill for $92.87! Flabbergasted I ask the desk guy what makes an oil change $100! Especially after you took time out of my day and didn?ˆ™t come through with the ignition switch you said you had. They said we did a bike inspection too?ˆ¦ WOW! A bike inspection. Thanks, that makes all the difference.... Who ask you to do that! I needed the ignition switch replaced you couldn?ˆ™t, I asked for an oil changed and you gouged me. After separating with Mr. Franklin they said they would call when the parts came. Well, I?ˆ™m waiting, two months have passed, no call. Not like it matters, I?ˆ™ll never set foot in the dealership again. Good-bye Leipolds and I hope readers take note. I`m a life long biker and back in the late 70?ˆ™s when I was a kid trying to scrape up enough money to by parts for my broken Honda I had a similar problem with them. Well money is no longer the issue for me, its integrity, and they still don?ˆ™t have it.
