I just bought a 2012 Subaru Impreza and I couldn`t be more excited!! The car was in great condition, got it for a steal of a price and the customer service I received was second to none!
Theo, my salesman, was very knowledgable and surprisingly I did not feel pressured at all throughout the entire visit, which was really rare. He even did a side by side comparison of the competitors car so I could make an educated a... view morend wise decision. The whole experience was fantastic! I truly recommend Theo and Mid City Subaru for anyone looking for a new or used car, it was great!!

My first car when I turned 16 was a Subaru Impreza. Recently, I decided it was time for an update. I headed over to Mid City Subaru as it was highly recommend not only by 1 but a few of my close friends. I was helped by Jordan who was a pleasure to deal with. He helped me through the car buying process as it is something very new to me. I test drove two different cars with a sales associate too. I am thrilled with my... view more experience at Mid City Subaru and glad that surpassed a car buying horror story I hear from so many people who bought their cars from other dealerships. I can assure you I will be returning to Mid City Subaru in the future for service and when it comes time to purchase that next Subaru.

Star Nissan is a great, friendly car dealership and it was a complete pleasure to do business with them. I had a few different cars in mind when going into the dealership. The sales associate talked me through all the different cars and I was able to decide which was the best fit for me. The sales associate was patient and kind. They then worked out a great price for me and even helped me work out financing that was ... view morefair. I would definitely go back to Star Nissan in the future and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a Nissan.

??World Class Rude and Incapa...
??World Class Rude and Incapable Management?? read, think, and stay away from them.
I will shed some insightful light on how MidCity?s Subaru Service handled my tire repair and let you make a decision if you really want to service your car there or buy a car from them.
After a few weeks of continuous minor leaks of air pressure in my tire, I contacted MidCity Subaru for an inspection of my tire. On the first visi... view moret they did not discover anything wrong. During the second visit there was a more significant leak noticed, and two weeks later a nail in my tire was revealed. They recommended plugging it. The way they plugged it was by creating a bigger hole and forcing a rubber plug through the hole without even taking the tire off the rim. Making things worse, they plugged it on the side wall! This method of external plugging and even attempting to fix a hole on a sidewall is known to be unsafe and prohibited under the Rubber Manufacturers Association (RMA), the tire industry`s national association.
Six weeks later, continuous tire leakage occurred and this time I called Yokohama?s tire manufacturer to advise me on it. Yokohama sent me to my local NTB and upon a subsequent inspection a second nail was discovered. However, NTB refused to fix my tire (by patching the nail hole) because they stated that this tire was repaired incorrectly before, it is unsafe, and they do not want to touch it because of understandable liability consequences in the future. NTB told me ??Only mom?s n pop?s shop would do it!??
I went straight to MidCity Subaru to confront them about the tire and they denied that they installed this plug! Marcel (the service manager) said that they wouldn?t do something like that, and yet they did! I asked him to show me the plug MidCity installed six weeks ago, but he could not. Then, apparently he lost control of himself and with his world class service mannerism screamed in my face to ??get out! get out!?? and threatening to tow my car away ? imagine. Let me make it clear, that service department denied that they incorrectly repaired my tire even though I have documentation ? think about it. The general manager Jordan was not helpful at all and stood by his technician not willing to even listen to my explanation. After asking him for help in the resolution of this issue, he said that he was not interested in helping me because I rated him low in the new car buyer survey sent from Subaru HQ. No problem Jordan ?it was honest, I was right again.

Poor Service Dept.
This review/rating is strictly for the service department. we bought our outback LTD from them 1.5 years ago. That experience was great. Now to the service department...My wife and i have had two completely horrible experiences. After the first experience we decided to give it a try again because maybe the service manager was simply having a bad day. he had yelled at my wife alone and than yelled at me later when i q... view moreuestioned something. we never received an apology from anyone but our initial salesperson. We`ve been back a couple times since with no issues ( haven`t seen the other service mgr, maybe fired). We scheduled our 15k mile $225 service for this past Saturday. When dropping off the vehicle we mentioned to Marcell, service manager, that we`ve had to put air in tires 4 times in the last 2 months. he stated that this was probably due to lower temp = loss of air pressure. I picked up the car 2 hours later and drove to KMART 15 minutes away. Upon getting out of KMART I see that my tire is flat. In the pouring rain with my 2 nephews I changed the tire and drove home. My wife calls the service department but they brush her off. REMEMBER, we told them to check the tires. After arriving home, my wife looks at the donut on the car and sees ANOTHER tire with an issue. another rear tire was found to have a giant screw in it and losing air slowly. So, we drop off the vehicle for comprehensive inspection and ask them about tires, drive off, and within an hour have two flat tires? COME ON! There can always be coincidence, but this is ridiculous. I leave work early and bring the Outback to Mid City Subaru. Marcell tells me that the tech checked all the tires and it must`ve happened AFTER I left. TWO TIRES in one hour? I kept my cool and told them to check out the tires, I get a call 10 minutes later stating that I`ll need two new tires. He quotes me a price. I come back 1.5 hours later and...............while scrutinizing the receipt I`m signing notice that I`m being charged for 2 quarts of oil and other misc. totaling about $75. SCAM. I bring it to his attention, no apology, and he removes it. I`m furious and ask to speak to a manager. I`m not sure the person I spoke with, but he was even less helpful. No apology again. No seeing my point that this was far too big to be coincidence and that it was major ineptitude at best. He offers a %15 discount card, but I already paid for a 10% discount card a year ago so it`s now 5% off of service up to $500. BIG DEAL!!! They could`ve kept my business by being at least a bit sympathetic. NO NOT HAVE YOUR VEHICLE SERVICED HERE

AWD is fun in the snow!
I just leased a 2011 WRX from Mid City Subaru and overall, I had a pleasant experience. I leased my old Subaru from Mid City about 3 years ago as well, and had an OK experience then.
I came in last weekend just to see if I qualified for a lease and to see what WRXes were available. There was only one, which was blue, and had more stuff on it than I was looking for. The salesman I dealt with, was really nice a... view morend had a no-pressure approach. He let me test drive the car even though I wasn`t interested in this particular car, so I could at least get a feel for the WRX. After the test drive, I stated the numbers I was looking for and my salesman brought the GM, Jordan, to the negotiation table. Jordan`s numbers were way too high initially. He initially assumed I wanted the WRX I just test drove and when I told him I wanted a different one, he looked around the state for one, found one to my liking, and settled with the numbers I was asking for. It was probably the easiest pre-negotiation I`d ever partaken in. Jordan told me the car would be in and ready on Monday so I followed up on Monday night and much to my surprise, Jordan kept his word and the final agreement still had the numbers we discussed earlier. My salesman transferred my plates and city sticker over to my new car and was extremely helpful. Even though I didn`t really need it, he went over all the features of the car and went over the important parts of the manual. The only reason they don`t get five stars is that someone misplaced the extra keys for the new car and it took almost half an hour to find them and it was already late and I was tired and ready to go home. I`d definitely do business with Mid City Subaru again, if another Subaru is in my future.
