Too Big to Care About Customer Service

I bought a Pontiac certified used car about a year ago, and since it has had it`s share of problems. So far, most have been covered under the warrenty (which has been great), but in the process I have had a lot of experience with the Grossinger service department. I have had to bring my car in to them 5 times in the past year and have had a horrible experience! Not only are they seriously overpriced (expected from th... view moreeir extremely convenient city location) but they are so big they have no need to care at all about customer service. First, it took them 3 different appointments (and a stern conversation on my part) to actually get them to fix the first problem I had. They were very gracious after that and I decided to try to work with them again. Now, today, their story about $140 inspection fee (the first time I`ve ever heard of it) changed from when I brought the car in to when they called with the estimate (first it would go towards any parts and labor if something was found to be wrong, now it`s in addition). When I tried to explain that the original person who took my car in explained it to me wrong, I was told that I mis-understood and that they couldn`t do anything for me. I could take my car back and pay just the $140 inspection fee with out any repairs if I wanted or I can pay $270 to replace a battery!! Ridiculous! I will never bring my car to them again. I live in the city, but I will go to the suburbs if I have to in order to avoid them!!
