FINALLY! An honest CLEAN DEPENDABLE quick lube
First off let me say that this is the CLEANEST auto repair/oil change store you will ever see.

These guys are professional - top to bottom.

They know what they are doing - no rookies. I`ve been a customer for a while and they get me in and out each time. They really do a good job of keeping my car in good shape. Good prices too.

Plus right behind the Xpress Lube they have a complete auto repai... view morer store. Overall good guys.

In response to negative review by business owner
As the owner of the above business, I would like to respond to the below review and explain the full, real story. On 12-11-09 the customers vehicle was towed in with a no start condition. I was called by the wife about the vehicles arival and given her name and phone number as contact info. We diagnosed her vehicle with a faulty IPDM. It is a 2004 Nissan Armada. This part lists for $277.61 at the Nissan dealer -... view more it is a dealer only part and is not available elsewhere. We called the local dealer, Nissan of Paducah, to check price and availabilty and were told that this part was on national backorder and that they had ""6 Nissans broken down at the dealership waiting on parts now"" and that it would be ""weeks to get the part."" We specialize in same day service and getting customers vehicles in and out quickly.

We could have easily told the customer it would be weeks to get the part and they would have to wait. We went ABOVE and BEYOND the normal call of duty, or what any other repair shop would have done, and called a large Nissan dealer in Nashville to only be told the same. We asked them to put the part on the dealer locator and find a dealership with it in stock. They gave us the info for a Nissan dealership in Texas that stocked the part. We called the Nissan dealership in Texas and verified price and availibility. Next, I called the gentlemens wife (which I had been dealing with the whole time, for all I knew she was single - I hadn`t heard any mention of a husband,) and gave her an estimate. Here is the exact estimate - Diagnostic $60, IPDM $268.92 (LESS than NISSAN list), Labor 89.40 plus I also recommended spark plugs due to the fact that the IPDM caused the engine to turn over with no spark and fouled the spark plugs. A VERY VERY INEXPENSIVE repair considering what was going on. The total for the whole job, including all of the above, OVERNIGHT shipping on the part, and platinum spark plugs with sales tax was $624.74 - a price that WOULD NOT be beaten by any dealer.

So I called the customer, explained the problem, what it needed and the price and that I could have the part overnighted to us and the vehicle repaired the next day. She was thrilled and said go ahead and fix it. I called the Nissan dealer in Texas and had the part immediately overnight shipped out to us. Done deal.

Approximately one hour later, the husband calls (which this was the first I had heard out of him) and asked to cancel the job. I`m sorry, but the part had already been paid for and ordered and there was no way we could cancel the job. I explained the situation to him and unforunately we just could not please him.

I guess the moral of the story is that he should have been the contact person on his end. We followed our normal procedure to a tee and unfortunately its like your wife going shopping for a car, her buying a new car and then the husband deciding he doesn`t like her car and him taking it back to get the money back.

As far as his quote ""instead of the dealer(big mistake)"" he would have definately paid more - the dealerships have a lot higher labor rate, been waiting a long time plus risked a mis-diagnosis. This was a VERY difficult diagnosis.

Also, when the husband came and paid the bill, he felt the need to interrupt our FULL waiting room at our Xpress Lube (which is the oil change store - his vehicle was at our Xpress Auto Repair) and let our customers know his situation, which was totally un. After he did that, we did indeed ask him to leave and not return. That part he did tell the truth on.

Bottom line, we are a professional, honest, dependable repair facility and most customers don`t take time to leave a praise review but occasionally you do get someone to go out of their way to do what happened below. Come see us and we`ll prove it to you.

Thank you

BUYER BEWARE
recently took my vehicle to this place instead of the dealer(big mistake)over priced job to my wife(even more than what the dealer, with a certified mechanic would have charged) i believe that they took advantage of my wife because she has limited knowledge on this type of work! i called them 10 minutes after my wife gave the ok and they told me it was to late to change my mind! (i found the part that XPRESS LUBE told... view more me was 300 for 178 from a nissan dealership factory issue)i spoke to the manager at X PRESS lube about the issue and he told me to get lost!(really! get lost) i have never had such a bad experience than this one! they basically told me that they riped me off and there was nothing i could do about it! consumers please stay away from this place! my wife and i are just glad this bad experience is behind us! we thought we could trust these guys, but know better now!!
