I started dealing with Fred when he was just getting started in 2009...he was very reasonable and professional...I recommened several people 2 him...I like him...fast fwd 2 2013 and things are very different...I called last wk and 2 c if they could repair my car because my parts were warrantied 2 them...they said yes...sandy the receptionist told me 2 bring my car in...I dropped my car off Wednesday...I called Friday... view more 2 c if they had looked at my car...only 2 b informed then that they were booked up through the week...that wasn`t a problem but I thought it wouldve been common courtesy for them 2 let me know that when she said bring the car in...Fred get on the phone and is very rude so I tell him 2 put my keys in my car n lock the doors and I will pick it up...because I`m not going 2 pay someone $300+ 2 talk crazy 2 me...against my better judgement I decide the car is already there so y not just let him fix it...I go in around 12:45 his other mechanic was sitting in the waiting area reading a paper or something...I say here`s the key 2 my car and put it on the counter...he says they r in the bay...sandy in there 2 indicating he wanted me 2 give 1 of them my key...so I pick my key up and go in the bay...I stand in the doorway of the bay waiting on someone 2 approach me....no one comes I see Fred standing in front of a running truck so I walk up on the truck...and he and sandy were hugged up kissing or something n I startled them when they saw me...sandy very nicely n politely took my key and went back 2 the waiting area...I stayed back 2 talk 2 Fred because I wanted talk 2 Fred about the situation...he instantly became defensive n very rude telling me I should have known he was booked up by the amount of cars on the lot or that I should have asked when they would get to it...he also went on 2 say how customers are always trying 2 blame the workers when things go wrong...so by now we are arguing back n forth in his bay...now I`m pissed n near tears cuz I can`t believe how rude ans unprofessional he was...so I take my key back again and leave....hours later around 4 my mom meets the tow truck at j&r 2 get my car off his lot...she goes in 2 c what the problem was she said that they told her I just came in going off on them and I just took it upon myself 2 drop my car off...which is an absolute lie...she said that sandy and Fred both double team her arguing back and forth being very rude and unprofessional wit her also....they were arguing back and forth n she got so upset she said let me leave...he tells her he will block her in and is just being extra....this whole situation was unnecessary and avoideable....I really truly liked Fred and thought he was a respectable honest trustworthy businessman....but now I c he`s just a wolf in sheep`s clothing....when she told me 2 drop my car off...if she knew they were booked up the whole wk...what was wrong with her saying....mam we are booked up thru the wk..u can bring the car now or later on in the wk...instead of telling me 2 bring it in...no doubt I was going 2 let him do the work cuz I trusted him...but what I didn`t expect was 4 me and my mother both good customers 2 b treated with such rudeness and unprofessionalism......I wouldn`t recommend j&r to an enemy....
