Don`t Stop Here Unless Your Wallet is Large

I have now give this shop two chances... Once about 5 years ago when I had an old beater and I figured why not they are only a block away from where I live so why not!~ and once again recently.. the first repair of few years ago seemed alright it was only a basic muffler a little pricey compared to chain places but I figured I was helping out a local business. Most recent dealings were only met with over priced qu... view moreotes and slow moving work.
First I was told 200 dollars for a brake pad replacement ...This was only for pads and labor. Not even new rotors or cutting and turning the existing rotors. Then after I balked and said this sounded high they dropped it but why was first rate so marked up....
I don`t mind a place making a profit but I need to trust that your not taking advantage of the customers based on looks and types of cars. I also wondered if I was getting new parts or used ones. Can`t be sure now but never going back.

Quick turnaround, inexpensive and right next to Blue Line stop

Was recommended by my roommate as both quick and inexpensive so when I ran over one of Chicago`s finest bits of road repair and drove off with what appeared to be no exhaust system I thought I would give them a try.

They proved both quick and inexpensive. $65 for replacing a section of my exhaust pipe and done in 20 minutes!

To top it all they are only 50 yards from the Chicago stop of the Blue Line, s... view moreo I dropped the car off, caught the blue line in to the city and picked it up on my way home. Saved me $25 on parking downtown!!

THEESE GUYS ARE GOOD

I am going to dis agree with strangeroads ahead. I once needed a new abs brake system for my blazer and before I was Quoted I was asked if I was willing to pay for a brand new abs system from the dealer or an economic one from the junk yard. Now at the time, times were hard so I couldent afford a brand new abs from the dealer and I chose the junk yard part. The first they installed was ok but my abs light came back o... view moren after two days. I took the truck back, they called the junk yard they bought it from and replaced it again free of charge. I am very happy the service mufflers 4 less provided for me and they were easy on my pockets.This was about ayear ago and my brakes have been problem free. So if your a cheapskate that likes using JUNKYARD and/or AFTERMARKET PARTS EXPECT TROUBLE AHEAD AND DONT GET MAD. NO TROUBLE : TRY OEM OR DEALER PARTS.

MUFFLERS FOR LESS = SCAMMERS = BEWARE

These people are scam artists!!!! The owner Franscisco is very charming and so is the assistant however they were caught using old parts on my car, (which was confirmed with the best mechanics in the city - Nal`s) and they made me seem I was in danger driving the car -- BIG LIES. They replacxed my friend`s alternator 4 times in 3 weeks and charged him the same every time!!! BE CAREFUL!
