By far, the worst shop experie...

By far, the worst shop experience I`ve ever had. My vintage motorcycle (`78 Honda) was knocked over and the tank got dented. Chewie`s Motorbikes found me a new (used) tank and sent it over to Duran`s to get it painted. Duran`s sent the tank back with hardened clear coat dripping all down one side of it. I was told to bring the bike to them to get it wet sanded. They then botched the wet sanding and told me... view more that they would need to re-clearcoat the tank. This would take a couple days and I was going on vacation for a week, so Jesse said I could leave the bike with them and it`d be done when I got back. While I was on vacation i got an e-mail saying they again messed up and would need to repaint the tank. They also said they would need me to bring in the extra paint they had given me from the first attempt. I was on vacation and couldn`t do this. On top of that I DIDN`T HAVE IT. Chewie`s did. The paint finally got to them 4 days later (Monday) since Chewie forgot he had it, and they said it would be done in 3 days. 3 days turned into 5 days, and I still haven`t gotten an update about the bike. I called 5 times yesterday (literally) and asked to talk to Jesse, and had 2 people leave messages for him to call me back. I never got a call. I then called again today and was put on hold 3 times - a total of 45minutes - forced to listen to the looping automated message about how, "a happy customer is our best way of advertising", before I hung up. I still have not gotten a call back and still do not know the status of my motorcycle. By far, the worst shop experience I`ve ever had. I should also mention between the tank Chewie`s Motorcycles got me and the "paint job" from Duran`s, this 30 year old, used, gas tank has cost me $600. $100 less than I paid for the entire, running, riding, motorcycle.
