I was the victim of a hit and ...
I was the victim of a hit and run, and although there was a tremendous amount of damage my insurance company refused to "total" the car, because it was only a few months old. I brought it to Gee-Kay, and it took a day to assess all of the damage and figure out how long it would take to fix it and how much the cost would be. After their estimate, my own insurance company tried screwing me by telling me that ... view morethe car "didn`t need" certain work, or that there were "other ways" (in other words, cheaper for them) to fix the work. I guess straightening the frame was "optional" to them, despite how unsafe that would have been. The owner at Gee-Kay (Joe) actually stood up to my insurance company and told them that he couldn`t do the work if they were going to put me and my family in an unsafe vehicle. A second adjuster came out and sure enough he approved everything Joe said the car needed. When Enterprise was taking forever to pick me up from the shop, Joe drove me there himself. This was my first (and hopefully last) experience at a body shop, but if I had to use one again it would be Gee-Kay. These guys have been doing this forever and they know what they`re doing.
