I went to Tire Rama to get my oil changed in Coeur d Alene, when there they told me one of my tire treads was showing the steel belts on them, beings how we were from out of state I asked them if anywhere in Montrose Colorado I could use there free balancing and rotating and the technician told me Big O Tire would do them for free...Needlessly to say they LIED to me and now claim there not associated with that tire s... view moretore; they also lost our locking lug nut; now were stuck without any lifetime balancing or rotating as I was promised; very disappointed and WOULDN`T recommend, a bunch of liars.David P.

I won`t be going back to Tire ...

I won`t be going back to Tire Rama. Over the years I`ve gone there for virtually every car need I`ve had, but their service this last time was TERRIBLE. I called them the afternoon before taking my car in and asked if I could get a tune-up on my car the next morning. They told me no problem, if I got it in by 8 they should have it ready by 11. I called again in the morning and they still said those times were... view more good. So I dropped my car off at 8. They told me they would have it in the shop within an hour and give me a call once they`d run their diagnostics and saw exactly what it needed. I hadn`t heard back by 9, but I waited. Once 10:00 rolled around, I called and was told the car hadn`t been seen yet, but would be in the shop next. About a half hour. When 11 rolled around and I still hadn`t heard anything I called again, and they told me they would check to see when it would be ready. The guy put me on hold. I was on hold for 15 minutes before I started WALKING down to the shop. They ended up picking up the phone again 30 minutes later when I was half a block away from the shop. It was now 11:45 and I really needed the car by noon, but I could put my appointment off until 1:00 if I really *had* to. I asked if that would be enough time to finally take care of my car, and they finally gave me an honest answer of "no," that wouldn`t be enough time. They claimed to have just one other car in the shop ahead of me (still--4 hours after I`d dropped it off) and then they could get to mine. I`ve gotten good service from Tire Rama before (and when it was Alton`s) but their shoddy service this time--plus forgetting about me on hold for 45 minutes (43:52 according to my cellphone`s log) really put me off of them. It wouldn`t have been so bad if they`d given me an honest time estimate, but they kept pushing it back and really ended up wrecking my day`s schedule. Absolutely terrible service this time and absolutely zero regret shown on their part either for the time I spent waiting for my car or the time I spent waiting on hold.
