I had my son bring his truck here with the instructions to diagnose "ticking" sound (with quote to fix), replace throttle cable and adj idle. The next day he calls up and the person on the phone says the engine is "tired". Not, it is this and this and it will cost this much to fix it. Idle and cable not touched.. The truck needs a valve or something adjusted but besides the above symptoms it runs ... view morepretty strong. Apparently they just didnt want to work on it i guess. Its a 4 cyl S10 not a fiat or anything. Looks like someones barn on the inside. Never again.

Ripped off!
I took my 1996 Acura 2.5 TL in for an emissions testing, but instead ended up with "someone" swapping my battery out and replacing it with a Walmart battery. I noticed this right away after attempting to jump start my car and I brought it to "BOB`s" attention who immediately responding by acknowledging that he had seen an employee walking into the shop with a battery. He said he would go get it. ... view more"Bob" came back out and said, "the battery in the vehicle is the one that the vehicle came in with". When I tried to explain to "BOB" that this in fact was not my battery, and that i have never in my life ever ever purchased a battery from Walmart, he didnt` seem to care. I advised him that I was contacting the Better Business Bureau and would be filing a consumer complaint. "BOB", replied by saying something along the lines of " I am not interested in batteries"...
I am 500% even more sure that the battery I left with was in fact NOT the battery in my vehicle when it was dropped off.
I have owned my vehicle for over 10 years, and have had to purchase (1 ) battery. This only after the factory installed battery began to fail. I had recently placed the vehicle up for sale, and as a result have had at least 5 different people who had seen the battery and acknowledge/comment as to the condition of the battery, this coming just days prior to it being taken to the shop. I am dissapointed that "BOB" was not more open to listening and or discussing a resolution to this situation. I regret taking my vehicle to this shop and I strongly urge anyone considering this shop to take serious inventory of their vehicle and its belongings. After my unsatisfactory experience at Joys Auto Clinic, I am convinced that someone in this shop is NOT an honest person.
