My husband and I bought a truc...
My husband and I bought a truck from Rob Green a few weeks ago. We have bought tons of new and used cars and have NEVER been treated the way we were there. We drove from Idaho Falls, and were told that the truck would be detailed once we got there. Once we arrived the truck was FILTHY. There was dog hair everywhere and I`m not even sure that it was washed outside.
We went inside to do paperwork and we were told tha... view moret the shocks were bad on it and that the dealership would either fix it or take off the price. Since we live so far away we opted to have them price quote us for the shocks and we would replace them on our own and have them take off the money. We were told that would be $250 that included labor. They removed that off the final price after a TON of arguing because we were told we are buying the truck at wholesale cost now, but then we were charged for a maintenance fee of nearly $400!! We were told that we wouldn?ˆ™t be charged that, but they needed to show it on there. We didn?ˆ™t even realize until we had signed papers and left the dealership. We went to lunch and discovered that they did indeed charge us for that fee, thank GOD they made that part right when we showed back up to the dealership after lunch.
By the way once we made it home and had the truck in the shop for new shocks it was $550 with labor. I also asked to top off the tank, I was told NO because we were getting the truck for such a good deal. So as we are heading out of Twin Falls we stopped to get gas and where you put the pump handle in it was just dangling there. Not a big deal since we can fix that on our own, but why couldn?ˆ™t this all have been done before we purchased it??
Once we finally got the truck home we started detailing it and noticed that the back window must have been broken out because there was a TON of broken glass under the back seat. Seriously how hard would it have been to vacuum the dang thing? Normally when we buy autos we inspect things a little better, but since we had a long drive there and a long drive to go it would have been nice to be able to trust a dealership. We will never be back to buy another vehicle again from your company.
