i moved to boise a few years ago(3). i started to take my car there for oil service(broadway). i went in one day after taking it there for 2 years and they said they couldnt change the oil cuz the bolt that u take off todrain your oil pan was stripped.well i wonder who stripped it. when i told them i only bring my car there they said they dnt even have me on there computer as ever getting my car serviced there.hmmmm.... view more well i took it into some real lube tech. (dealership) they said the same thing that they could not change the oil cuz the bolt is stripped. so it cost me almost 300 dollars to get new oil pan and installation. i swore i would never take my car there again. weel 2 week befor xmas08. ihad 2 leave town real quick so i take my car to get serviced at mister.well i explained to them nicely at what had happened last time so please dnt overtighten the boltand stipp out my oil pan. two weeks later my car is having trouble shifting. so u have to give it gas in order for it to pop into the next gear. well when u do this it tends to make the car rev up the rpms and then the tires would spin out abit and shift into next gear. well a couple days later 1-5-09 we had a snow storm . i was driving back on the freeway and my car was having probs shifting. so i give it a little more gas well once again the engine revs up tires spin and pops into next gear. well one thing u dnt want on an icy snowy freeway is to lose grip. well when the tires spun ilost contorl of the car and hit a cement barrier. i was able to gather myself and able to start car and drive home. well i take it to mechanic shop 2 get the transmission looked at and they call me back and said my transmission was way low on fluid. about 2 qaurts low.well that just leads me to believe mister did not check and top off my trnny fluid. well they are suppose to top off all fluids.the prob is that they are lazy. at times i bet they dnt even change the oil they just put some in and say yeah we checked everything and your good to go. i just know in my heart that if they would have topped off my tranny fluid i would not be out getting my car fixed today . another 200 dollars. that dnt include the damage done to my car. it will cost me 3000 to get damages fixed. well i cnt afford that right now with the ecomy and all. i cnt go buy me new car either. so im stuck driving a wrecked car.if only they would have done there job right. i highly recommend not taking your car there unless u like paying extra car costs. its the reason we take our cars to get seviced. to keep them running well and extend the life of your car. i called and exlpained this to the manager. he just laughed at me and said he dnt believe me.
