I have taken my cars to Hong Kong Auto Service for more than a decade. They are scrupulously honest, the service is first rate, they are accommodating and pleasant. This place is a gem. Anyone who says otherwise is either having a VERY bad day or has a few screws loose somewhere other than his/her crankshaft.

Great Service

I needed to get two tires installed on some expensive rims. I brought them to duxler tire in Wilmette and asked them to do it. I told the guy that he cant scratch them because they are for a show car. He told me that it cant be done and he dosent want to touch them. He claimed to be the owner of all the Duxlers. I didn`t believe him because of how rude he was. I decided to bring them to Hong Kong auto. They changed t... view morehem for me in 20 minutes wile i waited. Cleaned the wheels and balanced them with all of the weights hidden behind the spokes. NOT A SCRATCH. Very nice friendly staff. Never go to Duxler just go to Hong Kong auto.

Help me out big time and didn`t charge a lot

My car broke down on the Edens just after the Old Orchard exit NB. I was towed to the nearest place. This was it. It was 2pm on a Saturday and they were about to close. They agreed to stay open to see if they could help me out. By 4pm, the owner had located the only rebuilt alternator for a chevy in chicago, had it installed, and charged me only ~$300. Sleazy

At first, they may seem disorganized. Examples of their antics include: 1. Making suspicious phone calls, trying to figure out the prices. They expect you to believe this is the protocol for retrieving the prices. Making matters worse are their prices for parts-more than double their competitors for generic and name-brand parts.
