DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE !!!!!!!! I went to this auto lot because my uncle knows the owner and since i would be buying this car alone as a women didnt want to be ripped off and i was bring my friend another women and we all hear the stories about how dealer rip off women but since my uncle knows Sal i thought i was safe. I explained to the sales person that my husband was laid up in bed after being in a re... view moreally bad car accident being hit by a JB hunt semi truck at a red light so we need a reliable car i could drive my kids around in and get to work with. Well they sold me a nice suv, i asked if the heat and air worked and was assure it did and I asked if there was anything wrong with it since we dont have much money due to husband being hurt. they assured me this car was in good working condition. Well less than 24 hours later the next morning go out to car dosnt start, had to get it jumped by a friend and needed a new battery. then that same day a bell kept going off and i realized the oil pressure was at 0, needed new oil pump and sending unit, then it was raining one day i turned on defrost and nothing was happening just blowing out chunks of brown crap told it needs a new heater core which i am now out of money and cant buy so i drive with a towel so i can clean my windows so i can see, car has been ticking really loud but i cant figure out where it is coming from it started about day 3 (found out later it was the flex plate getting ready to go) but now this is just the last straw after already spending close to 600 on this car my transmission is out yep car is sitting in drive way husband went back to work last week and now cant get there and has missed a week of work and now looks like another week since we cant drive the car. My uncle keeps trying to talk to Sal for me but he dosnt return his calls and is nver there. I am told when i stop there via a ride from a friend that i also must speak to Sal there. This place totally ripped me off and it isnt stepping up to the plate and helping me. my family is screwed no car and no way to work, since my husband works in the field and cant just be dropped off somewhere. They need to either fix my transmission and heater core or give me a better car. I have now made my first payment on a car that is just sitting in my drive way. And if this is how they treat the niece of a friend i cant imagine how they treat people off the street they dont know. SHAME SHAME ON ROUTE 66 AUTO MART

This place i a SCAM

I went here because they had a great deal on a 2002 Bmw 5 Series, the car drove fine and I was told numerous times that it had a "full inspection" and that "the car needed nothing." After purchase I had it into my mechanic to take care of scheduled maintenance, he then told my that I had a leaking differential and the brakes only had 10% of their life left. There were many other issues which cost me around $1500 tota... view morel to fix-all this from a car that NEEDED NOTHING. I normally had my reservations on going to a tiny dealer like this but there were no reviews online so I went for it. After being in here 5 different times through the months I have seen many people complaining about the cars they just bought needing major work done. To top it off the worst part of this whole experience is that they lied to me about my credit score and what I qualified for- they gave me 18.9% interest. This I now realize is my fault for letting them talk me into it. Then these idiots transferred my plates even though they were going to expire at the end of the month-which is illegal. After 2 months of driving on expired plates they had the nerve to try to get me to pay an additional $68 for the plates they should have gotten right in the first place. On the finance contract it shows that I paid $143, but on their sales contract it showed $80, they felt that I still owed it to them.
