Horrible - Scam Scam Scam
This place is horrible, worse than horrible, and really deserves negative stars, if that were possible. Fairly certain that the positive reviews are simply people affiliated with Value (look at the wording, customers don`t write like that). Expect to get a lemon and get scammed on the price and/or the terms. Go somewhere else, even if you have bad credit, there are more responsible dealers all over Chicago!

Bad Credit turned Good
I am very glad that one of my friend`s recommended me to the Value Auto. I lost my job last year and I just found a new job, in the year that I was off, my credit got real bad. My new job is far from my house and I hate the bus, so I went to the Value Auto. They really did not have the truck that I was looking for but after talking to the manager I realized that all I needed was good transportation to get to work. I ... view morehave never been happier with my decision. I did have some repair issues with my truck, but they took care of me under the 1 year warranty. It was very easy working with them.

Best car buying experince
I do not agree with the other reviews, I have very bad credit and the Value Auto gave me a chance. I am self-employed with very bad credit and when I went else where they looked at me like I was from another planet. I dont deserve to be on the bus stop when its 20 degrees out. I know that I paid more then other places but when I had problems with my car they fixed it at no charge, they gave me a one year warranty fo... view morer free and they really took care of me. Thank you Value Auto for trusting me when no one else would.

Lemon
The power completely died after 4 days, I can not turn on the car and nothing else. I will not pay for this car I contacted the Better business bureau and I will be contating a lawyer, They will not get over on me . I willm be in contact with the state attorney general as well. People dont take lemon dealers lying down fight them. DO NOT buy from them

Over Priced, Sold Me a LEMON!!!
This place used the fact that I was young and sucked me in. They sold me a 1998 Nissan Maxima for $8,000 that had 160,000+miles. Somehow that turned into a $13,000 loan. They said there was nothing wrong with the car, but in two years I have replace the alternator 3 times, there has been problems with the wiring since I got it. The alternator went out yet again!! Which is now 4 times. Every couple of months I have th... view moreat recurring issue, I have replaced the exhaust, starter, 4 alternators, 3 alternator belts and the axels with sway bar links. Every 2 months it`s something else, but no, this car had no problems!!! I believe that they knew that the car had recurring problems and ignored the fact and sold me the car. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THESE PEOPLE, YOU WILL BE SCREWED!!! By the way the blue book value on my car isn`t even $2500. I`ve learned a lot since then, and I will NEVER be dooped like this again.
