deceptive and unprofessional
I would not recommend anyone to do business with this location when not only a front line employee is being deceptive, the General Sales Manager was as equally deceptive and unprofessional.
The goal was to trade in my vehicle and purchase one of theirs. My intial experience was OK. This involved being met my sales rep and test driving a couple cars while they appraised mine.
After getting a low trade... view more in value we decided not to continue and left the dealership. This is where the poor business practices began.
The rep followed up with a phone calls days later informing us he could """"increase the trade in value to accomodate our needs."""" We did not respond and then the rep called us again stating he could make this work.
Finally, we gave in and contacted him to arrange another meeting. On this phone call, the rep explained how he could accomodate our needs by meeting our requests so we agreed to stop by the dealership and finalize everything.
This is where the poor unethical business practices were at an all time high. He asked to appraise my vehicle once again and then presented options for purchase. At this time he presented a clear ""bait and switch"". informing us a lower trade in value than previously quoted by him and monthly payments higher than quoted on the phone. It was evident the rep was misleading us to get us in the store to hard close us. At this time I was disappointed that he was not being truthful so requested to speak with his manager that was writing the offers on the paper with an * stating, ""pending credit approval.""
My first impression of the Manager was evident he was irritated that he presence was requested for clarification. After a brief run around of #s and shallow apologies on behalf of the misleading rep; I asked what did he mean by pending credit approval. Were the #s based on excellent - good-fair credit scores. I explained I knew my score was good, not excellent being I had it ran earlier that day
He chose to be malicious and stated, and I quote, "" 90% of the population have a 720 or higher credit score"" I disagreed with him and he responded that """"his normal clients averaged a 720 credit score."""" Thus is evident he was being selective, arrogant and impatient.
In closing, I would not recommend anyone to do business with this location when not only a front line employee is being deceptive, the General Sales Manager was as equally deceptive and unprofessional. I would suggest doing business with an accredited BBB company

Brad is a solid ambassador for the dealership.
Keep up the prompt and warm welcome. I have noticed and do appreciate the car washes buy every time I get the car back the black rubber floor mate is dirty from dirty shoes. Not a big deal just a nit.

Loved the services!
I really liked the Mini service clinic. It was wonderful to be able to talk to the technician directly and see what he is seeing on my car. Please have them in the future. We were going to get a loaner but one of our cars (of two) that we brought in was done faster than we thought it would so we opted not to get it. I always have a great experience at Bill Jacobs BMW and Mini!

Plain and simple
I think James was surprised by how easy the buying process was and that he really did not have to work hard to make the sale. We did a lot of research ahead of time and looked on your online inventory. Picked out the potentials and lo and behold we have the MINI that we wanted. Thank you very much for this buying experience.

Service was ok
Paid a lot of money to fix a problem on a 6 year old car (@ only 43,200 miles - I thought BMW`s were supposedly "made to last") and the car still didn`t pass emissions! I`m blaming the car, NOT the technician(s)

Professional atmosphere!
Kerry Cunningham was not over bearing, provided a very professional atmosphere and answered all questions. Finance tried to pressurize me, while signing paperwork, to accept a tire warranty that had to be signed immediately. There was no time to consider options.

Outstanding service!
Can`t say enough nice things about the staff in Naperville - they are always friendly and really seem to enjoy their jobs....it`s actually a pleasure having work done on the car - not a `chore`. It`s always nice to be recognized when walking through the door - the customer service level is outstanding. Thus the reason we chose to add a second Mini to our household!

Loved this place!
I am impressed with this auto dealer and they way the do business. I am happy with everyone there and love the way they can all be professional yet friendly while conducting a business that can be stressful and nerve-wrecking. They make that process go a lot smoother and less painful than necessary and for that I thank Bill Jacobs BMW and their great staff!
