repairs....over and over again

I took my vehicle to Larry Meadows after I had an accident back in March. They fixed the truck and it looked good. Well, so I thought. It was raining the day I picked it up and couldn`t really get a good look at it but they promised me they guarantee their work. I drove about 10 miles and when my passenger tried to get out she realized that the door handle on the inside didn`t work. I drove back to their shop an... view mored had them fix this immediately. After a few days I was able to finally get a good look at my truck. Well, there was a large drip in the paint on the grill, the grill slats weren`t painted black like it originally was, there was over spray on trim, they didn`t replace a side sticker that I paid separately for them to do (&quot;the guy working on it thought it was an extra,&quot; apparently he cant read their own paperwork showing work to be performed), they didn`t replace ANY of the emissions or belt routing stickers that they assured me they make sure to replace. I asked them to take care of this...oh sure, just bring the vehicle back in and drop it off and we will get it taken care of. Well, I had a rental car the first time paid for by insurance during the time they originally &quot;fixed&quot; my vehicle. I told them I don`t have any way to do that since I work and have one vehicle. I got to wait for 4+ hours while they again repaired my vehicle while they never once offered to pick up the expense of a rental car for me for a day after I spent nearly $4500 there already. A couple weeks later I got to looking at my truck again on a nice sunny day. Now I notice a spot starting to bubble on the door of my truck that they had sprayed. I talk to Joey and he tells me he will have to talk to the owner to see what they can do. A week goes by so I decide to stop in one day and see what is going on. I walk in and Joey and the owner are sitting around and he sees me and says &quot;oh hey, sorry I haven`t gotten back to you yet I`ve been busy.&quot; They weren`t going to do anything for me because their must have been a tiny spot of rust on the door and they don`t guarantee rust. I explained that I understood that but why would they clear coat over a spot of rust, had they told me I would have had them fix that too instead of causing an ugly bubbling spot on my door. Nope, still wouldn`t do anything for me....this now being my 4th trip in for a vehicle they had for over a week originally. I will never go back to them again, and recommend everyone I know to stay clear as well. Great talkers, but that`s all they are. They don`t stand up for their work and obviously don`t give a crap about their customers who don`t have brand new expensive car that needs repair. Their quality control is non-existent as proven by stuff anyone would have noticed on my vehicle. Collect the money and run would be a good description of these clowns.

Best Shop In Town

I had an auto accident back in March of 2008. I had my vehicle towed to Larry Meadows, because I have heard alot of good things about them. My insurance company even recommends this shop. They did an estimate on my vehicle, and called me to let me know how much the estimate was and how long the repairs would take. They called me as soon as my vehicle was ready. When I arrived at the shop to pick up my vehicle, I... view more was very impressed. My car looked like brand new. They did an amazing job repairing my vehicle, and they even washed and waxed it. When I went inside to pay for the repairs, the ladies up front were so nice, they even offered me a cup of coffee or a coke. :) The best thing about this shop, is that they guarantee their work and paint, for as long as I own my vehicle. So, they have great customer service as well as a great warranty. I would highly recommend this shop to everyone. Thank You to the staff at Larry Meadows. AWESOME WORK

THIS IS THE LARGEST AND BEST BODY SHOP IN PADUCAH, KY. I DON`T TAKE MY VEHICLES ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE. MY FAMILY HAS DONE BUSINESS WITH MR. MEADOWS SINCE HE HAS BEEN IN BUSINESS. THAT IS WHY NOBODY DOES IT BETTER. THANKS MEADOWS GANG FOR TAKING SUCH GOOD CARE OF ME AND MY FAMILY.

STAY AWAY - Larry Meadows is an extortionist, liar, and fraud!

As a long time customer of Larry Meadows body shop, i never thought I would have to write such a negative review. Recently I had a car dropped off for a FREE ESTIMATE. They told me they didn`t have time to get it all together at the moment and I could leave it there over night. Well after a week of calling and begging for my car back, I finally went down there myself and got my car. As I tried to pick it up, the owne... view morer Larry Meadows ran across the parking lot and got straight up in my face and started cursing at me. He then started making up charges that I had never agree`d to. I asked him to show me where I had authorized any work, and he just cursed at me more, tried to talk over me, and refused to provide any evidence. He had his workers block in the car and extorted myself and my wife hundreds of dollars. I am now working with the local Prosecutors office on the extortion charges, and further investigation is taking place. BEWARE!!! If they don`t even treat their long time customers good, think about how they will screw over those that don`t know what they are in for.
