""Used Car Salesman"" way of doing business

I was involved in a car accident and Maze, being a ""sister company"" to that of my Insurance Co,was recommended.I had prior (slight)body damage on my car.Being that the estimate was pricey,decided to ""shop around"" with hopes that another company would desire such a $$job and include this work,since other repairs on the body were getting done.After an appointment with the adjuster, I told him my plans before I`d si... view moregn any paperwork.He called me at work the next day, telling me He`d talked to his boss-No need to shop around, they would honor my request. I was told my car would be ready in 13 days. I rented a car. I took off of work on this day to get my car back. when I called, It wasn`t ready. I was told it would be ready on the 31st.It wasn`t.No one communicated with me as to what was going on. I called them back (again!)This time I was told that I could pick my car up, It was driveable, but they still had cosmetic work to do on my vehicle. I could have already bought a cheap used car for what I had spent on my month-long rental, so left work early to pick up my ""almost ready"" car. I grabbed my keys, walked out to my car to find THEY NEVER FIXED WHAT THEY PROMISED ME THEY WOULD! I waited in frustration to speak with the man who,in our conversation, twisted words around like a used car salesman. It didn`t matter to him- My insurance company had paid and I had already paid my deductable. A big $$ job+ a young girl= A BIG SCAM!!!

Smiles and handshakes, that is, until you sign the paperwork. This company has ignored the old business rule that a Happy Customer is a Return Customer. Though I hope I never need services again on my existing vehicle, I have brought into this world a (large) family who looks to me for guidence when making such decisions.
I left Maze Collision Center with confidence after they explained their plans to make m... view morey car new again. They assured me they would have my car ready by the 15th of the month (my grandson`s birthday), the day I had planned to give the 16 year old the car I was driving (while my car was getting repaired), for his BIG day. My wife had made numerous calls to guarantee his birthday would go as planned. The receptionist was very friendly as she attempted to connect these calls BUT we found we conversed more with an answering machine than the man in charge. When we started getting answers, I was under the impression my job had been put off since the paperwork was signed, they were guarenteed my business. I personally showed up to find out what was going on. 2 weeks after my promise date, my car was ready. (Did they JUST start the job after my unexpected appointment?)
The color of my vehicle didn`t appear to match in it`s entirety. When expressing this concern to Maze, I was told that I didn`t pay them to do THAT. I assumed that when such collision work is repaired, to make my car ""New again""-you didn`t need a paragraph explaining that in words.They found a very creative way of answering such a question-ending it with the idea that they would give me a DISCOUNTED RATE to blend the paint to perfection. Gimmie a break. I assume that after I signed a new batch of paperwork, they probably wouldn`t have it finished by the time I`d want to drive to my Grandson`s College Graduation. And even so, they`d use a box of Crayola Markers. ""We didn`t say HOW exactly we were going paint your car"", would be the answer.
