I went to Dobbs to get my Honda Accord repaired because the check engine light had turned on. I paid the $100 diagnostic fee, which is a bit much to have them hook a computer to your car to read a code. (you can have it done for free at Auto Zone). After they looked at the code, they told me I needed a EGR valve and some other valve on my transmission, and that it would cost $600. I declined the work. I replaced the ... view moreEGR valve, it took about 5 minutes. I had a mechanic from Honda look at my car, he was a friend and he replaced the transmission valve in less than 5 minutes. I`m not sure why Dobbs was trying to charge 300$ (it was a $50 part!) for 5 minutes of work. I will not be going back. I gave them two stars because I guess they can handle tire replacements and oil changes.

Dobbs Tire

I have used Dobbs in Wentzville several times for oil changes on both my car and truck. They did a great job. I have purchased two sets of tires for both my vehicles from Dobbs and the tires were great. Once I had a bad tire I purchased from Dobbs and they replaced it at no cost to me. I have no complaints about them.

3 strikes, you`re out!!!

Have used Dobbs on several occasions and have never been satisfied. I originally stopped going there because the management would talk to me like I`m an idiot who knows nothing about the complexity of a car (not the case, just don`t have a full shop in my garage). Now you are probably wondering why I keep using them. Well, I feel strongly about supporting my local businesses. Recently decided to give them 1 more ... view morechance to win me over, so i called to have 4 tires mounted (4 not 40) and was quoted a price of $160 to mount 4, four, quattro, tires.... That is insane considering Walmart across the street does it for $12.50 a tire and that includes a lifetime balance. This place is no good. You have a choice people, exercise your right to choose.

Will Never Visit This Location Again !!!

Not sure why i keep going to this place, guess i figure eventually i might get some decent service. After this morning though, never again !!! Spending over $700.00 on tires and alignment, had a 9am appt. Daughter shows up with car at 8:50, they finally get her in at 10:10. Bad thing is i called to complain that she was still waiting and i was mad and the mamger, name is Jerry told me it had been in garage for 45 mi... view morenutes and they were working on it. My daughter said as soon as i got off phone with him they took it inside. Besides giving terrible customer service they are a bunch of liars !!! Guess my measley $3000.00 or more my family spends there every year doesnt mean anything to them. Sorry i bought my tires there today but i will not ever go to another Dobbs for rotation, etc. I would rather pay someone to do it tha be treated and lied too like these people do. Glad i made an appt. a week ahead of time !!!!

CAUSED MY DAUGHTER TO BE STRANED ON I 70 IN A STALLED CAR 3 TIMES. HAD THE CAR TOWED BACK TO THEM 4 TIMES AND MY DAUGHTER GOT STRANDED AGAAIN OVER THE SAME PROBLEM.

Customer Service?

I have been to this location many times and I have never been treated well. And when brought to their attention, the managers acted as if they could care less if I remained a customer.
