Horrible experience. Don`t shop here. This is how it all started. My girlfriend found a car on craigslist on 4/10/2013. So today, which is 4/12/2013, we went to check the car out. It was a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP. Price was $9788 according to the salesman. His name was Joey G and he needs some serious customer service training. We got directed to him by the person we called from the ad. We got to the car lot and ... view morethey were very unprofessional. We understand it`s a small business but Joey came off as disrespectful. My girlfriend knew her credit score before we got there and she was approved before we got there. The lady that directed us to Joey never relayed any of the information to him. Soon as he finished rambling with another person he got back to us. While my girlfriend was still in the chair, I walked out to get the vin number to do a Carfax myself and I notice that the front bumper wasn`t aligned correctly with the hood. So I walked back in to my girlfriend and said "no, this car has been hit in the front and repaired". Joey G insisted that we run her credit before negotiating anything. I said "hold on, at all the other car lots that we have been too previously have negotiated with us before we got to the financial aspects of the deal". He got angry when I said the car has been in an accident to my girlfriend. He asked "who are you and why are you here". I told him "I was her boyfriend and I was there so she wouldn`t get screwed". So, he continued to check her credit and said "how much do you plan on putting down?" She said "$3000", even thought she had no intention on buying it after I told her about the misaligned hood and bumper. He basically threw her check stub on the desk and not put it in her hand like she handed it to him. He also had an attitude and tried to hand another paper back to me which he know that I didn`t hand to him. The loan would have been for around $6000 and he basically told us the car note would be higher than $250 at 42 months. I am not a math major but I have an associates in applied science and currently enrolled at Southern Illinois University for my Bachelors degree (Automotive Major). I am saying this because I know math. My calculations came out to around $223.96 and that`s including a 19% interest rate and 9.25% sales tax and tax title and doc fee. Her credit is subpar because she hasn`t had a car loan before and she owed a $298.00 Comcast bill, which is paid now and $98.00 to a book company. It`s a scam going on at that car lot, and I warn you not to go. Please look else where! I don`t see how they are stil in business with the horrible service they give.
