CUSTOMER BEWARE! I wish I would have checked the BBB`s profile on Autobarn before I bought from them (they have an overall rating of `F`). Beware that they may try to hide things from you and may not disclose everything they know about a car`s history. Evidently greed overtakes customer satisfaction at Autobarn. Consider yourself warned.

A Great Experience

My wife and I were looking for a 2010 Mazda5 with manual trans, but apparently those are as rare as hens teeth and one couldn`t be located, so she stopped by Autobarn Mazda to look at a 2012 with manual trans. They let her take it home for a couple of days and she really liked it. We stopped by on Saturday 4/16 to talk about purchasing and we drove home with it. Negotiations were relatively painless and they were very accomidating to our needs (we dragged our 6 month old along and he was in ""cranky mode""). Overall, a great experience!

I was satisfied

Patrick Datt, the sales rep, was excellent. Answered every question. Helped get me the best deal possible...and made sure I had the car I really wanted. Don Drescher, Sales Manager, was very congenial and concerned that I was happy. Tony (in the finance office) was most informative and helpful. Explained everything. friendly and polite

this is about the fifth car i have purchased from autobarn both the manager and salesman -returned phone calls in a timely manner -made sure i understood the deal -made an effort to get everything moving quickly -they were friendly and polite -i`ll buy my next car from these guys

Would definitely recommend!!!

I`d taken my VW to the Autobarn VW in Mt. Prospect, so I knew what I was getting into - a professional, no nonsense dealership that takes their customers seriously. We had a good experience buying a new Mazda3 with Thijs de Kool, who was helpful, responsive, and easy to work with. Nice facility, efficient people, and overall a good experience. Would definitely recommend.

friendly people

Excellent service, friendly people. The dealership had a large selection of vehicles and many different models to choose from. They made the experience very enjoyable. The dealership was clean and had amenities to occupy our time while waiting for paperwork to be completed.

Great and painless car buying experience

Great and painless car buying experience. Very friendly and welcoming staff, never had any feelings of being pressured at all. My wife and I were very indecisive, they were very patient with us and helped us make an informed and wise decision. Very knowledgeable sales staff! A painless negotiation process got us the car we wanted for a great price.

Gave us an excellent price

Our buying experience at the Autobarn Mazda Evanston was very good. Our salesguy, Bojan K. was very knowledgeable and gave us an excellent price for a 2011 Mazda 3 I Touring. We got the chance to drive the car with no pressure to buy. We felt welcomed at this dealership as well as treated with the utmost respect. We felt that making us satisfied was Bojan`s top priority and his quality of work was superb.

the best experience

I would recommend this dealership because when we walked in, I was looking for a used 2005 Mazda6, but it wound up not being ready for sale. Lewis was there to help me through and find a new 2011 Mazda3, which wasn`t exactly what I had in mind because it was missing the most important feature for my car: alloy wheels. I was about to leave and go back home, but, what made it the best experience was that if you`re able... view more to talk long enough, and show you`re committed to buying a new car with these guys, they will make sure that you get what you want; they were able to put alloy wheels on the Mazda3 even though it didn`t come standard on this model, and yet, they still kept the price within what we wanted. Thus, highly recommended for anyone willing to talk with the salesman.

very pleasant to work with

Lisa and Kissy were great! They were very pleasant to work with, knowledgeable and they made sure I was happy with everything. I would give them all fives if this were only a review of them. Doug, who finalized the deal and did the paperwork, was very unpleasant. He didn`t explain anything to me and didn`t really answer my questions.
