Unecessary Repairs

My 19 year old Daughter took here 2000 Saturn LS1 in for a problem with starting. It would run for weeks without a problem and then nothing it would crank over just fine so it was not the battery or the electrical system just would not start. Leave the car for 2-4 hrs and it would then start. After putting up with this for way to long I had her take it to the dealer. They diagnosed it as the BCM (Body Control Module)... view more I paid $123 dollars for that then they ordered the part and we had to bring it back 4 days later to install it an additional $341.04. and here is what they reported on the Service ticket "Verified Multiple codes in BCM, PCM had fuel pump disable code." One Month later same problem on the car took it to the Saturn dealer in Peoria IL and he explained the only thing that can disable the fuel pump is the PCM or pass code module that looks for the chip in the key. He replaced the PCM and told me that it should have been what the dealer in St. Louis changed. Once I reviewed the paperwork I had to agree with him the BCM code was PCM had fuel pump disable code as they stated on their paper work. I contacted them they refused to refund the unecessary charges. I contacted the Saturn customer service center they were very nice and strung me along for another week or so only to tell me they have no athority over the dealer and I was wasting my time. I am tired of getting screwed by Service departments that think they can get away with anything. Take your car somewhere else, and buy somthing else.
