When I moved back to the Paducah area (briefly) I needed a means of transportation that didnt include PAT`s or a taxi. So considering my horrible credit that I messed up years ago and have since been working on, I went to 3rd St. Motors for their buy here pay here service.

To make a looong story short, I put $500.00 down on a 14 yr old car that they charged me double the blue book value for (quoted worth... view more $1500.00) and have had nothing but issues with it ever since. The oil has been leaking since I bought it and when I took it to Tammy (manager? owners wife? god-knows-what?) they had their ""mechanic"" look at it who, of course, said theres nothing wrong with it.

Needless to say, it still leaks like crazy, and Ive had to put a new starter on it, new brakes (3 times because they failed to tell me there was something wrong with the rotor) and a new timing belt. Ive been paying on this car for a year now and I have to say, without a doubt, this was my worst purchase of my life so far. Ive put more money into repairs than the car is actually worth.

Never in a million-gajillion years would I EVER refer anyone to go to 3rd St. Motors, unless you wanna screwed?
