Outstanding Service
I recently took my 2002 Dodge Truck in to Cutter Dodge Pearl City after I stalled out in the middle of the highway. I was so afraid and when I took the truck in to to see what the problem was I told the service advisors to help me make sure that this problem never happens again. Well, they took me in, and from start to finish they been more than helpful. They assured me that everything will be ok and promised to help... view more me in everyway possible to make sure my truck will never stall out again.
When I got there, I was asked if I needed to get shuttled somewhere. Indeed I did, and they shuttled me back home all the way up Makakilo.
In an hour or so I got a call informing me of exactly what was wrong with the vehicle. My computer module was shorted and it needed replacing. They replaced it and also notified me that I was due for maintenance. Oil Change, Transmission Flush, Tire Rotation Etc.
I was amazed at how fast they completed the repair and maintenance. The truck got towed in Wednesday afternoon and it was finished Thursday afternoon, but I couldnt pick up until Friday morining, so they kept my car for the night, free of any storage fees : )
What also impressed me was that my service advisor Tony Ortiola was in contact with me from start to finish, giving me updates on my vehicle every step of the way. I really appreciated that. I even got a free car wash and vacuum. Something a working mother of 2 really really needs.
Overall I had a great , 5 star experience, at Cutter Dodge Pearl City and I will ALWAYS take my truck there whenever it needs fixing or maintenance.

BEWARE!! Scammers!
They replaced our factory warrantied part with a non-factory warrantied part..without our consent or knowledge-- now nullifying our warranty when the part, yet again cracks due to their poor replacement skills. Shame on you cutter dodge! We trusted you to do the right thing, and you ripped us off.

BEWARE!
We took our truck there when it overheated, and paid a premium to have the dealers service department replace the cooling system since their parts warrant gave us some piece of mind. Well, 6 months later the radiator is leaking-- its covered under warranty. They replace it. 6 months later we`re in another state with the truck and the radiator is leaking again. We take it to a new dealer, they get the original paperwo... view morerk from Cutter Dodge to verify the work that has already been done. Come to find out, the 2nd radiator was an aftermarket cheap radiator and is not covered under warranty. AND their mechs bent the frame in which the radiator sits and that is why it keeps cracking and leaking. Cutter Dodge noted in the records that it was replaced with a factory part per warrant--they lied. They scammed us, and now we are paying twice for a new radiator. They pretty much told us to have a nice day when we called to complain. I feel so betrayed! We trusted you Cutter Dodge.. what a bunch of low life scumbags! I would never take my car to this dealer again. Beware!

THE ABSOLUTE WORST CAR BUYING ...
THE ABSOLUTE WORST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! From top to bottom, the dearlership is filled with liars!! My NEW car is missing a part; I`ve called numerous times and keep getting passed from person to person -- even salesmen claiming to managers only to call back and find out they`re just salesmen. They`re very arrogant knowing there are not many places on the isalnd to shop. I`m in the militray and will sp... view moreread the word NOT to buy from this dealership.

The service rocked! They fixed my HVAC issue first time around! The staff was very courteous and, unlike other garages I`ve worked with, they called when the service was complete! Marcus was awesome to work with, definitely the first person I`d call for my truck`s next service!

Worst Business Ive Ever Dealt With!!!
In february 2010 i purchased my 2007 GMC sierra from pearl city dodge chrysler jeep. Shortly after i purchased it, one of my headlights had burst. If youve ever had a GMC Sierra, you`ll know that they make certain things almost impossible to do yourself so that you take it in. I took it in to get the headlight fixed, and when i got it back a WEEK later, my headlight was still out as well as a brake light this time... view more. Well, I took it in once again and they claim there might be an electrical problem because the stereo system that i had was not factory. I told them that the touch screen dvd player console was working just fine so i didnt think so. About a week and a half to two weeks goes by and my truck is ""ready"" to pick up. I get there and my lights are working, but now my stereo is FREAKING out. There`s half empty soda cans in all of my cup holders, there`s a quarter tank of gas GONE, there`s fuses left in my cupholders out of nowhere and theres some dumb fool`s number left in the side of my truck. I took the number in to the manager and he ran it through the system and told me nothing came up, well... he later texted me admitting that it was him and he lied to me but he really liked me. Some nerve. I go in pissed as hell, they`re telling me they can`t fix my stereo because its not factory.... then they shouldnt have touched it in the first place!!! and on top of it i am complaining about one of the managers to the top guy of the dealership and he starts going off about how his wife is leaving him for someone she met online and then asks if i want to take one of his new jeeps FROM HIS LOT to go offroading. My mouth dropped in disgust. I caused such a scene that they paid for a brand new stereo, but they tried giving be a regular little cd player.... well i told the stereo guy to give me the best dvd player touch screen and he did just that. I end up trading in my truck and cancelling the 1700 dollar warranty in october since now i need a ""mommy"" vehicle and in the last week of december i get a phonecall from the lean holder saying theyve received payments on my suv but have yet to receieve payments on my truck since october. Excuse me... So i called the dealership and they say theyve paid for it. I call the bank and they say they have not been paid for it by the dealership. I fought and fought and find out that the dealership claims they sent the check to the wrong address. I dont know how thats even possible. When i cancelled my warranty they also said i would be getting a check as the refund since the 1700 dollars came out of my pocket and i never used it. In december i called and said i still had not receieved it, they said papers were never put in for it. They faxed me papers and i sent the papers back. The general manager said that he recieved it and took down my address and even repeated it so he would send it to the right place. Last week, i called the General Manager and left a message. I had multiple people other than him calling me back saying ""what refund?"". Then they tell me someone will get to it. A third male calls me saying ""that refund won`t go to you, it goes to your lean holder towards your car payment"". So today i call my bank and they say they`ve not receieved ANY money except the payments that i`ve put in. I will get my refund, but for all of you... i was in the military and ill let you know, one person in the military has a bad review.... word spreads like wildfire. This dealership has to constantly change management and employees because of problems. I HIGHLY recommend going somewhere else.

PEARL CITY no ka oi
I called from an auto shop, regarding a hard-to-find and expensive part we needed for a jeep job in process. Chris from the Parts Department was extremely helpful and friendly. They were professional and helped make my job much easier! AND they deliver. I would highly recommend them to any business or private car owner, and we will definitely continue our patronage in the future!
