Bad Experiences with Volx German
I have had bad experiences with Volx German and will not be back. They are overpriced, tell you that you need things you don`t need, and do not fess up when they make mistakes.
First, they left out the drain plug on the transmission on my daughter`s VW Cabrio when ""servicing"" it. The fluid leaked out and the transmission was ruined, and this was after $1500 worth of replacing ""gaskets"" in the transmission... view more. They would not admit a thing, and then they offered to rebuild the transmission for $4200, twice the going rate.
Volx German said I needed $850 worth of brake work on my other car. For what I asked? Pads, rotors, master cylinder, ?kit.? The brakes seem to work fine to me, but it had been awhile since I had the back done. I found a great freelance mechanic, who looked at it and, indeed, all it needed was pads in the back ($45 plus labor), everything else was fine. No warping on the rotors, no master cylinder issues. Nothing.
Go elsewhere. Learn from my misfortunes...
