I can say enough about this pl...
I can say enough about this place. It was so easy to talk to them. I dropped my car off on a Friday. I had my 97 Taurus transmission rebuilt and was done and had it back by noon on Tuesday and it has a warranty. They were great to deal with, no bull crap about anything. I was able to call from there to Enterprise for a loaner and Enterprise picked me up.
So nice to have a reliable car again. When you weigh the cos... view moret of a rebuilt trans against buying an unknown used car (more troubles from the old owner) or a new car (huge payments and extra insurance), it`s better to keep what you have because you know what you`ve already invested and what`s new, not new etc.
I highly recommend them. They are total professionals.

Great Customer Service
I was referred to Shift Works by another facility that had diagnosed the noise in my 2004 Yukon Denali as a Transmission problem. I dropped it off with Shift Works for a diagnosis.
Knowing that I needed it back soon, Jeff stayed late, put it on the rack and determined that the front differential bearing was the problem. He then did research on the internet as he hadn`t had a problem with this differential un... view moretil now. I got a call the next morning from Jeff saying that it was the bearing but that because the differential was a unique design he couldn`t repair it without investing in a few thousand dollars of specialty tools.
As the truck is just out of warranty, I`m going to see if I can get it repaired by a dealer under warranty, but if I end up replacing the entire differential with a used unit--I`ll go back to Jeff.
The cost for the diagnosis work, research, etc. was $0.
