Oh yes, I am running a 1976 Pontiac and 2001 F150 truck along with a 2000 toyota camery.
Here?ˆ™s a complete breakdown of my receipt:
Description of Work (labor):
Change Oil, Oil Filter, Rotate Tires, Check belt & hose, Check brakes and test drive - $105.00
Parts:
Oil - $18.00
Oil Filter - $7.50
Fees:
EPA / Waste Disposal - $2.00
Tax ?ˆ“ $1.53
I thought to myself there is no way I?ˆ™ve paid this in the past so since I keep all the receipts for all my service I went digging.
By comparison, I pulled the receipt from Cobb County Toyota when I had the same routine service done; here is what they did and how much I paid:
Labor:
6 Point Inspection All
Inspect Fluids All
Inspect Tires All
Oil and Filter Change with Lube
Rotate Tires All
Total - $28.76
Parts:
Oil Filter ?ˆ“ $6.46
Gasket - $1.33
Oil - $9.35
Fees:
Compliance Fee - $1.00
Shop Supplies - $1.44
Tax - $1.03
Total Cost:
$49.37
When I questioned the attendant about why so much and told him that I?ˆ™m certain I can go to the dealership cheaper and have receipts to prove it he just said well that?ˆ™s what we charge and I don?ˆ™t have the authority to override the price.
I am the type person who will normally not write these kinds of reviews but with all the hype around this service center I don?ˆ™t want anyone else being taken for a ride like I was today. You be the judge and someone please help me understand the $84.66 difference. I?ˆ™m still in shock.
I will certainly never use Bud Leonard Again. I can?ˆ™t stand dealerships but this is definitely not a viable alternative.
