Worst service department ever

I let them rebuild my trans. and they gave me a 12 mo. warranty. Now it needs to be redone after 26 mo. at this rate this 2006 Focus will coust $1000.00 a year on top of regular maint. and Akins will offer no help. I will never own another ford or seek service from Akins ford .

Worst Ford Dealership, stay away

Akins Ford of Winder are easily the worst auto dealer I have ever experienced. Almost without exception every time I go there there is an issue. It`s convenient for me to order parts which should be a simple exercise. Sadly it is always a headache from being ignored when I walk in to routinely ordering the wrong parts. Today I wanted a price estimate for an easy job on an E350 van. Utterly useless person working for an utterly useless company. ZERO STARS and after todays experience the last time I will set foot in that place.

NIGHTMARE SALES EXPERIENCE

I can`t imagine a more AWFULsales experience. First of all, we told the sales person, Stan, what we were looking for and how much we were willing to spend (a used F250, preferrably diesel, in the $12k and under range). He said he had several in stock that would be around that price and for us to come out and see- well, after test driving a vehicle and deciding that was the one we wanted to go with, we later found tha... view moret the price on the vehicle was nearly twice what we had advised was in our budget...The second issue was that when he ran my credit application, it was rejected- I still don`t completely understand why, but he could not explain that to me and didn`t bother. He basically sent us away and refused to answer any further questions or our requests to please JUST WORK WITH US. At no point did he even bother to ask how much we had available in cash, and in the end, we ended us paying for our vehicle at a different dealership in cash. I begged Stan to please just call me back, to tell me how much we needed to put down/ pay in full, to see if there were other vehicles on the lot we could look at, and he just refused to return my calls or respond to my emails. I guess he thought that I just wasn`t worth talking to....Definetly the worst sales experience I`ve ever had, but in the end I guess I`m glad we went elsewhere. We found almost the exact same vehicle for less than half what they asked for there, were approved for credit, but decided to pay in cash anyway to save on interests, so it all worked out in the end :-)

Not too pleased

I`m not very pleased with Akins Ford in Winder.. They said my vehicle would be fixed, after it had been in an accident, in about 8 days, they got it Monday Jan 7 & had it until around the weekend of FEB 16. AND it still wasn`t fixed! The turn signals didn`t work properly, you had to manually turn them off, The steering wheel was still slightly bent, there was a clicking noise everytime you turned the wheel, in either... view more direction. And best of all, THEY drove this vehicle to my home & didn`t notice these problems. So, it`s back to them, they`ve now had it going on another month. No, I`m not pleased w/ Akins.
