I searched around for a Used car for several weeks. I know I did not want to buy a used car that wouldn`t make it a month, which is what nobody wants in a used car buying experience. That`s exactly what happened to me. I bought a used vehicle at the beginning of August. It didn`t make it another three weeks. It was a 2006. It had less than 100k miles on it. I was told that it was driven very easy and was assured it ... view morewould last at least another year or two. I was told so many good things about my Ford. So, since I only needed it to last basically a year, I signed an "AS-IS." So, three weeks later- less than 2,000 more miles on the car- I`ve got engine stalling, knocking, and extremely rough idling. It hardly starts. I took it to a mechanic who gave me a $2650 estimate that I know is reasonable for what he described to me. Major engine repair needed. I would have to at least replace bottom parts of the engine and some bearings. He suggested replacing the engine with a used engine. I understand "AS-IS." I may have to replace a starter, an alternator, maybe even some fuel injectors. COMPLETE ENGINE OVERHAUL, though? That`s ridiculous. When I called them, they told me that basically there was nothing I could do for me. Yes, I know that Georgia Lemon Laws won`t help me. However, I just refuse to believe that fair business practices would tell them to do nothing when I basically chose the car because they told me it would definitely last at least a year. I did not rate repairs as I was told I would have to bring it 95 miles to the dealership when it wouldn`t even drive.

Very unhappy with the service or lack thereof that I received at five star ford. I went in to buy a new car knowing exactly what I wanted. They didn`t have what I wanted on the lot but offered to locate the vehicle I wanted for me. After a few minutes they came back with a build sheet and invoice for exactly what I was looking for, even with a couple extra options. We agreed on price and they gave me a loaner and sai... view mored my car would be at the dealership in 3 days. After three days I still hadn`t heard anything from the dealership so I called to ask if they had any updates. They said they had the car and that it was being cleaned up and I could pick it up the next morning. The next morning I drove up to the dealership and found the car I ordered parked in front. Upon inspecting it I noticed it was missing alot of the options that were on the build sheet that they had showed me. I brought this up to the salesman and his reply was "this is the car we showed you" I said no, it isn`t the car you showed me had a different interior which was a $1500 option. He kept trying to say it was the same car until I asked if it had the same vin number as the one he showed me yesterday, his reply was "well no, but its the same". After spending the better part of an hour arguing with the sales manager and salesman they would only take off $500 for the error. Basically they screwed me out of an extra $1000 for an option that wasn`t in the car. In hindsight I should have walked away from the deal, but I was tired of dealing with these crooks and just wanted my car. I hope that $1000 they took from me was worth it. They`ll never get any business with me ever again.
