Rip-Off
On 5/31/08 I traded in my 2002 Dodge Neon for a new 2007 Kia Spectra. My trade-in was to be paid off. One month after the purchase of the new car I got a call from Citifinance Auto requesting payment. I informed them I had traded the 2002 Dodge Neon in at Kia of Chamblee and they were to pay off the trade in. I immediately contacted Kia of Chamblee. I was told they had made a payment for June and the payoff would b... view moree sent in full by July. To date it is October 2008, my trade-in is still not paid off. Kia of Chambee sent Citifinance the payoff, but then canceled the check. I am now trying to pay both car notes to avoid further damage to my credit. The dealership appears to be completely out of business. I have no idea where my trade-in is. The Department of Consumer Affairs also appears to be helpless in helping me. I`ve hired a lawyer, he is telling me I can`t take them to court because if an arbitration clause in the contract that I signed. Since they appear to be out of business, its not like they will be able to hurt anyone else, but there is no way of knowing if they open up again under a different name. Any new Kia dealership opening up - ask, ask, ask questions. Don`t get taken, pay attention to what you`re signing.

lack of customer service
I bought a new 2007 kia sorento and traded in a F-150 FX-4. My sorento had engine trouble 3 weeks after purchase then It took 4 hours to get to the dealership and have them APROVE a rental car for me. After this I started to get a call from the Ford Motor credit company saying I was late on my payment. The dealership has you sign a 30 day payoff insted of the normal 10 day. then They didn`t even have it paid off in t... view morehe 30 days. After invovling the Govorners office they finally made my payoff but not untill they had already sold my truck, (which they didn`t even Leagally own nor did it have a clear title yet.) I went this entire time with out a returned call from the NEW owner or his assitant. If you choose to use this dealership ask for Roy Bolden, he was tons of help.
Buyer beware.
