HORRIBLE!!
BIG MISTAKE. Told by the owner my car will be ready in 4 days. I called him multiple times to ask the time of pick up and when I will arrive. On the 2nd day, I notified him I`m picking up the car on the 4th day. During the times I called him, I kept asking repeatedly if it was ready to be picked up and if everything was fixed. He said yes, and I was happy that he kept his promise. When I called last, I asked him the ... view morecost to remind me. He then failed to mention that he doesn`t take checks or credit cards. What type of business doesn`t take those forms of payment? Notified last minute, it was an issue. There are limits to what you can withdraw from an ATM, so I had a hard time trying to find enough cash to pay this guy. I had a friend take me to go pick it up, and as soon as we get there, I took a careful look at my car. Damages before the repair were: front side bumper collided, causing the passenger door to cave, unable to open, front right headlight broken. When I looked, I was appalled that he used TAPE to patch the broken headlight. I complained that it was very inconvenient having to come, after I made sure to ask if EVERYTHING was fixed. He said he didn`t want to let me know until I got there, but that he was able to fix it the next day due to the wrong item ordered to replace the headlight. It was a waste of my time having to come back and forth. I don`t believe I should be charged for the type of service I received, especially with the owner arguing back to the customer. What I expected was my car to be completely finished after I checked multiple times with the owner, especially with all the trouble I had to go through to find the form of payment. He had a period of 2 whole days to get it fixed from when I first contacted him, or at least to notify me of the mistake of the order. Had I been notified, I would`ve been more understandable, and he would`ve saved me a trip. Poor customer service, and who calls their customer a ""liar""?
