This gas station/ service station is somewhere I WOULD NEVER GO AGAIN. I was getting gas, and an attendant asked if he could check my fluids or did I need an oil change. I was in a hurry but was in desperate need of an oil change. I had my oil changed and received a complimentary car wash. Once I was at home, I realized my camera, camera case, phone charger and several other things were missing from my center... view more console in my car. I know for a FACT that who ever was working on my car took them. I had had my phone plugged in my charger while I was pumping gas. I called them to ask if we could talk about it and that I was on the way back there and wanted to do everything that I could to leave the police out of it. The manager was defensive, hateful and refused to wait until I got there to talk about it. He said he "had places to be" and actually hung up on me. If that is not a clue he had my stuff I don`t know what is. Once I got there, of course the mechanics and manager were gone, and so was my stuff. It broke my heart because my camera had 2 years of memories on it. I can never get that back. 3 hours later the police showed up and I filed a police report. They said there was nothing that they could do but wait for a detective to call me back. Sadly, when the detective called me back after the wkd, he said it was not a criminal case, but a small claims case. he said I would have to take them to court and it would most likely be thrown out because it is my word against theirs. And to make matters worse my insurance deductible is too high to cover any of the stolen items. My aunt and uncle have lived in that neighborhood and have been customers of the Roxboro BP for over 25 years. They were upset when I told them what happened. They know the owner and suggested that I call him. I am pretty sure he has no idea how his customers are being treated and how his company is being managed behind his back. I wanted to share my story with all of you so that you can choose another gas station to get gas. But please continue to go here if you want your things taken right out from under you can afford $3 a gallon.
