Called the lot about a car the...

Called the lot about a car they had advertised RIGHT before they closed to ask if they still had the car and they said yes. We asked them questions about the car and they answered our questions and asked when we were coming in. We drove 60 miles early the next day and got there before they did. When the salesman arrived we asked him about the car and he acted confused and couldn`t find it on his inventory sheet. The ... view morereceptionist arrived and had to get on the computer to check on the car and couldn`t find it. The receptionist then had to call someone to find out about the car. It had been sold. Two reasons why we think the car was not there when we called: 1. they never said we sold it right before we closed last night. 2. they couldn`t find it on their inventory sheet and computer. So it is obvious that it had been sold for awhile.

Money for Nothing

I purchased a used vehicle there Feb 08, two days later the check engine light came on. My mechanic said it was the catalytic converter. The supposed warranty on the car wouldn`t cover this. Took it back to dealership and they charged me $375 to replace the catalytic converter. Check engine light came on again. Thinking it was something else I later had the oxygen sensors replaced elsewhere. Engine Light came back on... view more! Fast forward to yesterday.. new mechanic pulls out catalytic converter and tells me it was the ORIGINAL THAT CAME WITH THE CAR! I`m not made of money, when one buys a used car there`s a reason. I am highly disappointed and upset that I was told a bald faced lie by this dealership regarding the work they did on my car.
