I live an hour away in Dallas, and was visiting my daughter in Newnan. The check engine light came on (2000 Chev Blazer) and the car was shuddering. I called, they said better bring it in....they were quick to figure out what was wrong and up front on the costs and approx.how long it would take to fix. Customer service has definitely improved from a few years back when I took my car in to be worked on. The personality and professionalism of staff needed improvement but I recently took my Explorer in for axle work and new tires, and the new front desk staff has definitely improved. Helpful, considerate staff. Answered all my questions and up front with their fair pricing. I watched them during the work and confirmed that they endeavored to take good care of my truck. Throughout, I felt appreciated as a customer. I would highly recommend this location.

Friendly staff, the owner came out to greet us and was visible in the shop checking on the mechanics. Pricing was fair and better than some of the other shops I called. I was pleased with my first visit and will return.

I have been doing business at Newnan Station Goodyear for over a year or so for everything from new tires, oil changes, brakes, mechanical work, etc., and have had nothing but satisfactory work. I usually drop off early so most of the time I deal with Darrell. He is always friendly and courteous. I never have felt like I was treated different because I`m a woman as I have at other places. This company is dishonest and mainly one individual which is Darrell. We went in because our battery light came on and shut the car down after picking my husband up who is a Army recruiter. After being told it was just a bad battery cell and we needed to replace the battery that`s exactly what we did I then proceeded to ask them, are you sure it`s not the alternator he stated NO!!!! The next day the battery light c... view moreame on and we went back right before they closed as that is the time my husband got off work, they stated we are closing come back tomorrow. Needless to say tomorrow came and I returned at 9am. We decided to replace the tires and brakes and get a diagnostic again on the battery. Again we were told all was well tire and brakes were fixed and we were good to go. This morning 7/3/2013 the battery light came on again after dropping my husband off who works in the area so I went back. This is our only vehicle and I am a mother of 7 kids. Darrell stated he will speak with the mechanic who misdiagnosed our vehicle and he will see who has an alternator after putting it on the diagnostic for a 3rd time. He stated a alternator is $600 for a Kia Borrego and I stated oh no. I paid $1000 I am not paying another dime. I called my extended warranty company to see if they could help although my policy will not be in affect for 9 days. My warranty department stated they would ship me an alternator for $85 and we only had to pay $50 to get it put on. Well of course that beats a $600 dollar alternator any day plus $400 for labor. While on the phone with extended warranty Darrel states hey I have a man who will repair your alternator and we will put it on. I asked how much and he stated no problem don`t worry about it. I proceeded to say thank you so much I appreciate that. While on the phone with the warranty they heard what Darrell said and stated hey sounds good to me call me if you needs us, and I said okay. Darrel immediately told the mechanics to remove the alternator and send it off to the repair guy. I then caught a ride home and my husband went back to work. We called to check on the vehicle and he stated I need $269.00 I stated for what you told us don`t worry about it and there for we let you continue to fix the vehicle. He then wanted to call our warranty department to see if they could help with the expense. We decided to call and again like I said my warranty is not in affect until 9 days. The manager at our warranty department stated he heard him say it was no problem and he will handle the cost and it was unfair to charge us when we could have paid cheaper after already spending $1000. Darrel was rude stated give me the money or you don`t get your car back and hung up. However before hanging up he lied and stated I never told you don`t worry about it. WHICH WAS A TOTAL LIE!!!! My warranty guy heard him, husband and every one else in there. After he called the owner who is on vacation his boss and the owner was upset for not charging me he then decided I will try to recoup something after already telling us no problem since it was our fault. This company is dishonest and I am so very angry at the treatment. I am now stranded at home with my kids one including a baby while my husband is stranded at work.
