When my wife and I went into t...
When my wife and I went into the dealership for the first time we were looking for a hybrid car to lease. Dexter was the salesman to work with us and seemed to know somewhat about the car and seemed friendly. After we test drove the car we went inside to look over the numbers. They gave us numbers based on the best they could do for a least on a Volt, a 39 month lease term. Dexter had us under a false impression that... view more we would be able to just take the Volt home and plug it in the wall to charge it. When another gentleman came over he mentioned that there was a program in the past where Chevrolet would pay for the expense to have an electrician come to convert an external outlet to one that is similar to that of an electric dryer 220v. They seemed to be confused as to how to actually charge it. We went home later that night and did some research on the Volt and found another Dealer that would lease us the same car with $0 down for 24 months with 12k miles per year with a monthly payment $100 lower than that at VADEN. I went back to Vaden Chevy the next day and asked them why they could not do this same deal. A manager came over and said that they could. I asked about the numbers they had given me previously, supposedly the best they could do, and the manager didn`t really know what to say except that he could. ALL BUYERS BE WARNED. IF GOING TO VADEN DEALERSHIPS, LOOK ONLINE FOR OTHER LEASE OR PURCHASE DEALS FOR IDENTICAL CARS. VADEN IS HIKING UP THE PRICE AND TERMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would avoid doing business here if possible!
