This is in response to the previous review. They are a good example of why so few shops will still perform minor repairs and just want to sell a whole transmission. The shop was willing to try to address an electrical issue with the possibility it was caused by metal contamination from a bad trans. The fact they would attempt first to save the much higher rebuild cost sells me on their service. Also, by the way, Auto... view morezone only scans 96 and newer vehicles, uses only generic software that doesn`t pick up all the codes, and does not diagnose why the codes are there. Good luck if you take the advice of a parts salesman on intricate mechanical and electrical problems

worst repair shop ever
Absolutely not recommended to anyone out there. The manager and the mechanic made the wrong diagnosis, and relpaced the solenoids that got burned out immediately after repairs. And they still wanted to charge me not just for labor, but also $90 for just looking up the "check engine light` codes, (which is done free at autozone and other places), and other ridiculous charges, so that they can cover a part of the... view more cost for the parts. And after all that my car is still not fixed and is driving worse than it was before i took it to aamco. and they wanted me to pay $300 for doing nothing after having made a wrong diagnosis. The owner is really rude and an a**h***.and kept pushing me to rebuild transmission so that he can make $2000.
