Reviews:
Today I went in for a simple oil change. The man at the counter was kind and told me it would take 45 minutes to an hour. I agreed to wait. THREE HOURS LATER... they call my name and tell me there are some issues. All the "issues" were fluid flushes of some kind, bringing my new, unexpected estimate to a grand total of a whopping $900.00! The man at the counter insisted these issues were urgent. I took the... view more estimate sheet to another car care center and was told that everything listed was just preventative maintence and was used to upsell customers. Something also listed on my estimate sheet was a brand new $120.00 battery! My battery isnt even a year old! It`s still under warrenty. Based off another review i`ve read, they tell other people this too. I plan to have my usual car center double check all of these "issues". I only went to tire kingdom because I had a coupon for a $17.99 oil change. (which is also a scam because that doesnt include tax or the oil disposal fee required). When I went to pay for my oil change, I drew the mans attention to a sign saying " if we dont offer an alignment, you get a free oil change". The man went on with some bs excuse about how they had to check to see if your car was eligable for an alignment first before offering it...huh?!?! I was so aggervated by that time that I just wanted to pay and leave. I will never go back to tire kingdom and I dont reccommend anyone else waste their time with them either.

Con Artists
My troubles with Tire Kingdom started when I took my car in to the 252 Bobby Jones Expressway location to repair a tire. They told me that the hole in the tire was too close to the rim and could not be repaired. It would have to be replaced. Which I agreed to have done. They also asked if they could look under the hood, to which I also replied yes. When they finished I was told that my rotors were below spec, m... view morey transmission needed to be flushed and that my battery`s charge was testing low. I agreed to the transmission flush and a new tire. This cost me about $300.
A few days later I notice that when I accelerate from a stand-still my front tires are making a squealing noise. Figuring this to be related to the thin rotors I was informed of I took my car back in to have them replaced. I also decide to have an oil change done because my car was due. They replace the rotors and tell me that the squeak is gone. I pay another $300 and start to drive off and discover that the squeak is still very much there. I take it back to inform them of this and wait for an hour before they tell me that my left front sealed bearing has ruptured causing all it`s lubricant to leak out and the squeak is caused by it being dry. When I ask for a quote I`m told it`ll cost $250-300 more to replace the bearing. I decline to have it repaired.
About three days after this I notice my car has suddenly started to leak oil. At this point I am starting to get very suspicious considering I just had them change my oil. So I take it back in, expecting that they didn`t tighten the oil cap enough. They tell me that my front main seal is leaking and that it`ll cost +$800 to fix it. I tell them not to do anything and pick up my car. When I come to pick up my car I ask how serious the problem is and how long I can delay and they give me a story to try and scare me into getting it fixed right then and there.
And as for the battery testing low...I haven`t had any problems with it so I don`t trust them on that either.
When I take my car to another repair shop I describe what Tire Kingdom has said and I`m told that the information I`ve been given is inaccurate. I believe that this business preys on uninformed consumers and uses fear to bilk people out of their hard earned money.

Don`t believe AlexisPollack23!
If you read their other reviews, they are ALL glowing reports on Tire Kingdom. They also seem to be reviews from all kinds of locations across the South; from Florida to Louisiana. PLUS, almost all of them seem to be made...on the same day!
Don`t trust this person. He/she has probably been paid to spread false positives on Tire Kingdom.
