My husband and I was very disa...
My husband and I was very disappointed in the services of this place!! We had to leave our car here because we were on our way back to Illinois from Florida because we found out my husbands dad was in the hospital about to die so we were trying to make it back there and our car broke down on the way, we had it pulled to a gas station across the street from them, so my husband asked if we could have them work on it an... view mored we would pick it up in a couple weeks on our way back. We called them about a week later and they told us a certain date it would be finished by. So 2 weeks after we dropped it off there we went back to pick it up in our rental car and we get there and they tell us it is not finished yet but if we stay in the hotel room across the street that it will be finished by the next day, so we stayed there and the next day it was still not finished so we left. We had to keep the rental car a extra day because they lied to us saying that it would be finished. We were stuck with a three seater truck after we dropped off the rental car, and we have three kids, so we couldnt go to many places and the whole reason we were in florida was to spend time with my husbands brother and go to disney world and things like that.. but we couldnt do any of that because they had our car for 3 months. They told us on several occasions that our car was going to be finished on a certain date then when we would call them on the dates we were supposed to pick it up they would come up with excuse after excuse. Finally they said it was finished for real so we drover up there and got it, but our steering wheel was upside down and the car was making funny noises. They worked on the steering wheel another couple hours while we sit in there with our kids waiting on them.. Only for them to tell us that they don`t know how to fix it but if we want we can keep it there another day and they can fix it. ( we drove 5 hours there to get it) so we told them no and we drove it with the steering wheel upside down, we brought it to the cadillac dealership so they could fix it, and they told us there was a bunch of stuff tore up, so they ended up having to do thousands dollars of work on it, Tim the owner payed for that work . That`s the only good thing that he did. the only reason he paid for that, is because I had him feel out a paper saying he was going to pay for the steering wheel to be fixed, then they told me there was a bunch of other things wrong with it, so i told him it was his choice he could pay for it or i would see him in court. and even after all that work it still does not run the same as it used to. They charged us $5,200 for the crappy job they done. Then add up all the hotel stays, gas to go back to get it, and the rental car we lost out on a lot of money from them. So if you have a choice in it, I would send your car to another shop, Cadillac told us for the stuff that they done to our car they would of only charged us 4.000 for a brand new motor and transmission.. the one Tims shop put in was used!
