? Providing your professional towing solution with integrity

A Tow, Inc. was founded nearly 50 years ago when Val J. Porter discovered he could launch a company to provide the answer to the towing needs for his service station. Starting with only one truck and his wife by his side, his humble beginnings developed into a corporation operated and managed by his four children. A Tow has nearly 100 employees, over 40 truck fleet, in-house fleet maintenance and the most efficient dispatching system in the metro Atlanta area. A Tow is a member of the Community Associations Institute and the Atlanta Apartment Association to support the homeowner???‚¬?„?s, board members and management companies with their towing needs. We meet with various groups of people to listen to the needs of their community and suggest solutions that may help. A Tow provides education, as well, so the public understands their obligations and our limitations as an industry. The towing industry is regulated by the Georgia Public Service Commission setting the standards by which we can operate. A Tow is a member of the Towing Association of Georgia, Midtown Alliance, Parking Association of Georgia, and the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce so we are intimately involved with the developments that are happenings around the greater metro Atlanta and the surrounding areas. We are also involved with the laws and ordinances that govern the towing industry.? ?

Do NOT use this horrible excuse of a company.
I recently got my car towed from Smyrna. I was NOT at fault, at all. I have a parking sticker, and I live there - giving me full permission to keep my car there. My homeowners association decided to get my car towed at 2:30AM. They do this when you don`t pay the homeowners association, but they claim (earlier this year) that they will NOT be towing anymore. On top of that, they are not allowed to tow without giving ... view moreme notice. I never received notice and I PAY my association fee. Moving on.... I heard the tow truck outside my window (it faces the parking lot), so I looked out of my blinds and noticed that my car was being dragged out of the parking lot. Let me mention, my car is a MANUAL, which was in gear AND the parking break was engaged. And, my doors were locked. Tow companies are not allowed to go inside your car, even if its unlocked. He attached my car and dragged the 2 front wheels onto the flatbed (scrubbing the rear tires along the way). He did not put a dolly on the rear tires or anything. He literally just DRAGGED my car. I witnessed him doing this, as by this point, I walked downstairs and was in the parking lot. When he saw me, he ran to the truck and drove off very quickly. Along with dragging the tires (with the ebrake engaged), my car has custom suspension and is much lower than how this car comes stock. Meaning, while dragging my car, he was dragging my rear bumper. I immediately called the place, as the tow was in route, and told them was I JUST witnessed. They put me on hold, and then lied to me directly, saying ""He informed us that the rear wheels were on dollies."" .......THEY WERE NOT! I WITNESSED THE ENTIRE THING. BOTTOM LINE? These people are low-lifes. Liars. And, the woman answering the phone sound like they`re crackheads. They are extremely rude.

Great Service!!
I went to A tow on Wednesday to get a tire replaced. As the driver was lowering the car, the hook caught my tire and blew it. The driver was very apologetic and helpful with all the information I would need to get the tire replaced. He put the spare on for me and even helped steer the car in the repairman`s bay for me ( I couldn`t steer it not being running). When I went to see Sherita at A Tow a couple days later, s... view morehe was very, very courteous, professional, and down right nice. I gotta tell you it was an unexpected, pleasant experience. Thanks A Tow, I will definately keep your card.

Avoid these crooks! Avoid these crooks!
Avoid A Tow like the plague. They are a bunch of lying, cheating, swindling scumbags. They are crooks in every sense of the word. Our car was struck downtown in a hit and run incident. The APD called A Tow (shame on the City of Atlanta and the APD for working with those crooks). The driver was VERY nice, and explained the charges and how much it would cost to get our car to the collision garage of our choice. We as... view moreked multiple times and were given the same answer about the cost. After the car was delivered to the garage they payment charges was nearly double what it should have been. When I called for clarification I was met with a rude, ignorant, unconcerned customer service rep. I was given the runaround, made to hold and never got straight answers. I called back later to talk to a ?ˆ?manager?ˆ™ who then explained all the additional charges (charges that were NOT mentioned by the driver)?ˆ¦ a huge list of ?ˆ?add on?ˆ™ BS. I told her the driver never mentioned that and we felt mislead and lied to. She told me she would have the director of the drivers call me ?ˆ“ which they never did. Again, avoid A Tow and if the APD say they are going to call them for you, tell them to move on to the next name on their list (if there is one) or call someone yourself. A Tow are crooks and liars and con artists.

THE ABSOLUTELY WORST
They have the worst customer service possilbe. They are liars and crooks. I could be stranded in a snowstorm and need a tow and I would not call them and if they happen to come because the police called them I will wait until another tow company comes along; and if one can`t come I will push the vehicle myself or leave where it stands before I ever deal with these dishonest, getto-fabulous Keisha and La-Teeka aga... view morein. Who ever owns this company, if they value it, they should do some house cleaning. I am real patient and know people make mistakes, but these two co-horts need to realize that it`s a business and should act accordingly. They may feel good about the attitude the portray ovr the phone, but I would not be surprised if one day I hear on th news that an irate customer went down there and kicked their non-professional, lying behinds. I called and spoke with Kiesha and asked her what the charge was on the vehicle. She told me $150. I asked her how much would it be for any additional days. She responded $15.00 per day. I said thank and she hangs up. The next day less than 12 hours later the charge is $235; and of course no-one would own up to a mistake being made. I spoke to the manger La-teeka or something or another and she was just as rude. PLEASE, I IMPLORE ANYONE NOT TO USE THIS COMPANY;YOUWILL REGRET NOT LISTENING --IT WILL BE THE WORST OF WORST EXPERIENCES IN YOUR LIFE. DON`T DO IT TO YOURSELF

God forbid you should ever have business with A Tow Inc
It is unfortunate that this site requires at least 1 star be selected minimum as it is too high a rating for this company.

Our car was stolen and abandoned but due to circumstances we were unaware for 11 days. However, A Tow Inc, had towed and impounded our vehicle at the request of the Atlanta PD 9 days before we discovered it was missing. Once we realized it was gone, we made a number of calls only to find ... view moreit was on their lot. We were told it was towed because someone reported it abandoned. We thought we were just picking up a vehicle that had been wrongly towed.

When we went to the yard it was then we discovered it had been stolen, hotwired, and left abandoned on another street. I asked why we were never called, as this was a fully operational, legally registered, currently licensed and insured vehicle and they had all the owner information because we had to show matching verification to try and get it back. They said they were too busy to call but then they said they sent notice by registered letter on the 4th day. As of the 12th day we still have not received anything from the US Postal Service that would indicate a registered letter has been sent.

The bill was $255 dollars of which $105 was towing, $110 was storage at $10 per day, and then there was a $40 dollar notification fee. I said I wanted to see proof that they had sent notification before I paid the notification fee. They said they didn`t have it, but I was free to wait until Monday, (this being a Saturday) to speak to a manager, however they would keep the vehicle as well as the tab running on the storage fees. The only thing worse than finding out your car has been stolen is to be victimized a second time by the criminals at A Tow Atlanta, Inc. while they hold your car hostage and demand an undeserved, unethical fee tantamount to ransom. To make worse, an already unbelievably bad experience, was the rude, inarticulate, clearly low class persons that are the staff. They are the caliber of persons one might expect to find in jumpsuits, picking up garbage on the highway, but certainly not interacting with the public and trying to make correct change. If you have the choice, please never use them, and if like me you should find yourself forced to have any involvment, then may God help you.

WORST TOWING COMPANY IN ATLANTA!
This company is operated by illiterate morons! They try and give you the runaround asking for the most useless information in order to get your car back! Anything they can do to stall, they will! IF YOU HAVE ANY BRAINS, NEVER USE THIS SERVICE!

Worst Towing Ever
I first thought ok, our car is towed, no problem, we made a mistake, we did not see the Towing Signs that were posted on the other side of the building. We can just get our friend that we rode to The Circus with, to take my four children and I to get my car! Wrong!! The Lady there told me I needed my vin # and Drivers Licenses as posted in the Run Down office. I give her an insurance card with my name and Vin #, ta... view moreg # on the car!Oh no, they can not except that they needed a current tag??? WTF! Im from Conyers, then she asked me for my title? Who carries there Title in the CAr! 11pm and we are crammed in the car unsafely....with Kids, because ITS POLICY..
Where were the policies posted!!!Because what I read was DL and Vin #,NExt day, I bring my Title.. Guess what!!DL name is my madien name and the Title is my Married name! Its Policy...Where is the policy? And then, the dumb a** ask me can some one fax over the MArriage Certificate that I know I burned!!WTF! She was laughing, it was funny, the guys at the gate were laughing, it was funny, Three people were outside of that building crying because of The Well Organized Towing srvc of Nasty, ATLANTA, and very uneducated employees, Saturday morning there is no Manager in. And if there was it probably is the Mother of the FAmily Owned and Operated Buisness! Posted 105.00 and then once I pisse# them off, they tell me 125.00. And Im supposed to pay these Crooks that have nothing better to do than to have Contracts with Private owners and get a percentage of each car that is towed in..LAZY<FAT<CROOKS. Luckly, I had my Divorce papers in the car! Idiots!

WORST EXPERIENCE
The absolute worst service I have ever experinced. I cannot decide whether which is worse, the empty sarcasm, low class attitudes, dirty environment, and disgusting people that work there. I spent almost 3 hours in that ""s"" hole- and was in the end, UNABLE to get in any contact with the manager Ms Bell. The two females who were working were rude, sarcastic, and snacked on candy while pissing off every customer that... view more was there. Unbelievable. Maybe due to the policy, they added ""rules"" one after another after something was done. It was like they wanted to keep my car!! "" well, you caint git a stamp no where on saterday, so it will be $15 for it to stay here for ery day. PLUS $40 for me to tell my boss yo car is her."" LOW CLASS MUCH?

I did not even mention all of the problems, sadly my car was towed by these bastards who then were watching me as if I was going to ""steal"" something out of my own car.

Avoid at all costs. and if you are sooo unlucky to have your car towed to this location, be prepared to WAIT and deal with dirty b/s.
