Thank you for another GREAT experience. Everytime I bring my car here, I`m always pleasantly surprised with the service. It`s great to be able to go to get my car fixed, and know that not only will it get done right, but that they will only suggest things my car actually needs. I will absolutely be back.

My goodness!!! how can such a scamming and horrible business like this have so many positive feedbacks? They must gave themselves good reviews to scam their customers.
My car was perfectly fine before I brought it in for a oil change. There were leaks and it jerked every time I shifted gear. Brought it back and they wouldn`t check it and said I left my defrost on which I didn`t. They messed with the fuel sensor to... view more create an engine check light on, said it needs to be fixed by replacing with new sensors, and wanted to charge a very stiff price for it.
Brought my car to the dealership 2 days later, they fixed for half price, and said the mechanic changed your oil either was a bad mechanic or he did it on purpose for the leakage and false computer error of the sensors.
Please stay away and save money!!!!!!!!!

Stay away!!
They quoted me ...
Stay away!!
They quoted me for parts and labor that were not needed!
The unnecessary parts were also much more expensive than they would normally cost, I mentioned that another repair shop would do the work for half what they`ve quoted me and they right away drop their price by $300. It was still too much and I took my car somewhere else. That`s when I found that, that a 1/3 of repair quoted were not needed.

They are running a big scam! Stay away!

Worst Auto Repair Service in Buckhead and Possibly the World
Hands down the worst consumer experience of my life, across all forms of commerce. From the first day I dropped my car off to the 60th day when I picked it up, this group was unprofessional, unresponsive, and unorganized. They told me the job would take 2 weeks and it took 2 months and there were still things left unfinished. I have little patience for ignorant dishonest people, so I paid my tab and left so I did ... view morenot have to listen to one more garbage filled conversation. Here are a few gems from my experience: 1) They installed the wrong tires on my car, 2) they did not repair the glove box, the spare tire, or the center console as we discussed, 3) they removed seat covers and did not put them back on. Never take your car here, regardless of the price he gives you. He uses inferior parts and labor so he can undercut the competitors who may actually fix your car like they say they will.

The worst company in Georgia! ...
The worst company in Georgia! They are nothing but incompetent liars. And the owner Larry is the worst. He is more concerned with talking and joking with people than actually getting any work done and dealing with customers. Not only does it take forever to even get someone to pick up the phone when you call but then all you get is crap. I have been lied to more times than I can count and told I need expensive parts ... view morethat I dont actually need. I called the day the part was supposed to be in and got the run around all day. First I talked to Larry who had to go see if the part was in and said he would call me back. and hour later I call back and talk to someone and they tell me Larry is trying to track down the part and they will call me soon. 4 HOURS later I call and am told Larry left for the day and didnt leave any notes about the part or my car and that someone will call me in the morning to update me. Are you freaking kidding me!!!Then they FINALLY get the part in and its no good, but no one calls to tell me until i go to pick up my car. I took my car to the Goodyear on Cumberland Parkway (who are awesome!!) and they told me that that is definitely not the part I need and the one i do need is 1/3 as expensive. They make you wait forever and then dont even come and tell you whats going on. This is the worst service and company I have ever dealt with. I will never ever go back and warn anyone who goes to beware and get a second opinion!!! The only reason I went to them in the first place is because Michael who works next door who sold me my car promised that they were the best. Well Michael turned out to be a cheap lying ******* and is the reason I am in this mess to begin with! Dont Ever buy a car from him and dont ever go to Buckhead Auto.

Great Service
Mechanic Josh worked on my White Tahoe and he was very knowledgable and quick to service. He provided extra value by informing me of other future needs and how best to take care of my car. He even offered to vacuumm my car for me! Highly recommended!

Great service and good guys to deal with...
I`ve always had good experiences with these guys. You can tell they care about cars and are genuine, honest folks. They don`t take all day and (at least in my case) will run you back to your house if it is going to take awhile. Given their location you`d expect them to gouge you on the price, but they are VERY competitive on pricing and know what they are doing. HIGHLY recommended!

KNOWS HOW TO WORK ON RANGE ROVERS !!!
As the other reviews stated, it is so hard to find a mechanic that you can trust. I cannot say enough good things about Larry and his staff.
I was in a unique situation in that I had a Range Rover that had just run out of warranty. I was so nervous about the exposure of owning a car like that without any kind of warranty, and Hennessy (which is just up the street from Larry) was about to scare me into paying $6... view more000-$8000 for an extended warranty with some crazy high deductibles.
On a whim I went in to see Larry and get his opinion on what I should do. He went over my options with me (at no charge) and helped me conclude that he could service my vehicle on an as-needed basis and odds were that over time that would be cheaper than the warranty that Hennessy proposed.
So I took my chances and went to see Larry for various issues as they arose. No only was his work excellent and quick, but his prices were reasonable and, at times, I know that he did additional work without charging me. Once he even let me borrow his own personal car for the afternoon because we had to wait for a part to come in and I had to run home to relieve my babysitter. The guy is so likable and trustworthy and fair - I know what the other reviewers mean when they say that it feels like he is a friend they can trust.
I guess that one additional thing that I want to express on this review site (besides the fact that he is fabulous, as everyone has said) is that he is just as comfortable with foreign cars as he is with domestic cars.

Tailored service with a personal touch
I recently relocated to Atlanta and live in the Buckhead area. When my tired Accord with a quarter million miles on the odometer wouldn`t start one morning I was in a quandary. I needed to get my car running. But without a running vehicle I was geographically limited to repair shops within walking distance. I found Buckhead Auto on the internet. After reading the reviews (most glowing but with a few ""we hate them"" ... view morethrown in) I gambled on Buckhead Auto for the repairs. I was worried that any business with the word `Buckhead"" in it would come at a premium cost. Most reviews were from people who drive considerably upscale cars compared to my 10 year old beater. I needed a ""working man`s mechanic,"" not a German technophile with an appetite to sell expensive repairs. After diagnosing the problems, Larry called me with the news. We discussed what needed to be done to make it run; what should be done to keep it safe; and all the other things that were broken but didn`t contribute to forward motion. Larry was willing to tailor the repairs to my budget and needs without argument. He recommended more repairs to the cooling system than I could afford, but was willing to let me out of the shop without doing those repairs. He threw in a free radiator flush to allow us to keep track of the leak status going forward. Having read the reviews, I knew that the major issue with Buckhead Auto was promising repair times and not delivering. So when the repairs took an extra day so Larry could verify via a personal test drive by him that my car was fixed, I wasn`t surprised or upset.
When I went to pick up my car I got a tour of the shop by Larry. He is obviously proud of his business and takes time to deal with his customers personally and directly. The bill for the repairs was very reasonable considering all the work done. I`m happy to say I now have an ""Atlanta Car Guy"" and have already brought the car back for more service. Regardless of where I move in Atlanta in the future, Larry wll continue to be the one I trust for all my auto repair needs.

Finally, a Car Place to Trust
I have actually never taken the time to write a review before. While I have gone to some good businesses, never has one been extraordinary enough or left a lasting enough impact for me to take the time to write about it. After my experience at Buckhead Auto, I knew I had to change my no review-writing policy.
I recently was in a tiny fender bender. Someone on the scene who knew a little bit about cars said I ... view moreneeded to get a part of my car checked out that could possibly be damaged. I am a grad student and am operating on little time, sleep, and a limited budget. So the idea of having to take the time and money to fix my car sounded awful. Since I am not a native of Atlanta, I researched trustworthy car places in the area. The first few places I read about had scathing reviews, and then I came across Buckhead Auto Center`s glowing reviews. In addition to the reviews (hundreds on google and other review pages), it stood out to me that it was a family business. Plus, people kept talking about Larry, the owner. When I went in, Larry introduced himself as if he were a new friend. He was just as kind, genuine, knowledgeable, and honest as the reviews had said he was. I showed him the part of the car in question, and I told him I was about to be driving on a long trip, leaving the following morning. He started to schedule an appointment for me for early the next morning (earlier than they open I suspect, trying to fit my schedule), but he must have read the stress on my face (again, grad school=limited time and budget), because he then said he would take a look at it right then. After examining the car, he told me that my car was actually good to go. He said I could fix the bent part of my car if I wanted to for looks-sake, but it wasn`t going to hurt or help how the car functions. I opted not to get it fixed, but asked if I could at least pay him for his time. He wouldn`t even let me do that! Because of my experience, I fully trust Buckhead Auto and Larry. I will without a doubt go back there for anything to do with my car, and I encourage anyone else to do the same. Once you go there, you`ll never go to another car place again.
