Disappointing Quality and Integrity

After reading the online reviews I decided to use Wayne?s auto service to fix our car. On In June 30, 2011 we took our car so they could replace the starter and repair the AC, which was blowing hot and replace a blower motor which had just burned. We paid $597.97 for this service. On July 1st, 2011 I returned because the AC was still blowing hot air on driver?s side and cold her on passenger?s side. They initially ... view moretop off the A/C but I immediately notice that this didn?t fix the problem, so the mechanic got the car back and worked a little longer. When I left with the car that day apparently the problem was fixed and they did not charged me because it was under warranty from previous service. I was impressed with their honesty them that I wrote a positive review online. On August 13, the car would not start. Called road service assistance to jump-start the car and they notice after car was running that it would not hold current and would stall. There was much voltage fluctuation when AC was turned on/off, so they recommended me to tow back to the shop where I had the AC repaired. On August 15th Wayne?s service did a diagnostic check on alternator, starter and battery and identified that the battery failed the test. They asked me $130 to replace the battery, yet the battery was one year old and under warranty with PepBoys. I paid $42 to Wayne?s service for the diagnostic and had the car towed to PepBoys. The Pepboys honored the warranty so the car was running again, YET I notice the AC was again blowing not working properly, with hot air coming at the driver?s seat AND the control to switch air way from panel to windshield and flow WAS BROKEN! PepBoys had just replaced the battery but Wayne? s mechanics had mess up again with the AC with additional broken control. On August 18th I had an early appointment as Wayne?s auto service for other recommended services but decided let them first fix the AC. After 1:40 minutes sitting at the waiting area I notice the van was still parked and mentioned that I had a 8:00 am appointment with them. When they finally came back they asked me $535 to fix the AC hot air issue and replace the control they broke. They not only have quality but as well integrity issues

Honest, Competitive

Wayne`s Auto is one of the few honest auto repair shops that remain. They won`t try to sell you stuff your car doesn`t need and they will fix it right, at a fair price. The way you`re supposed to be treated, not like other chain repair shops who are always looking for a way to gouge you for services you don`t need.

Excellent service

I`ve taken my 2000 Land Rover Discovery for service several times. They are thorough and the owner, Wayne, is awesome. I highly recommend them.
