Deception
I am not the first person to write a negative review on this dealership, although the negative reviews have been deleted since I last checked. Earlier in 2008 I purchased from this dealership a 2 door 2008 Honda Accord EXL, fully loaded, from the showroom floor in Burford, GA. I purchased all the "bells and whistles" on additional warranties. I had to take the car in for an oil change, tire rotation and some oth... view moreer servicing issue they convinced me I needed at that time. While I was waiting for the service department to finish everything I was approached by the gal in the bay where you drive up to drop your car off for servicing. She advised me that the mechanic working on my new car said I needed NEW brake pads. I found this odd since I do a lot of highway driving but was willing to look at the pads myself to see what they looked like. NO, I am NOT a male, I am a female who is very well versed on the basic mechanics of my vehicles and I understand the workings of my cars. So, as I waited for the mechanic to show back up at my car I noticed that the calipers had not been loosened, taken off or anything and my brake pads still looked visible inside the shoe. (The tires were not on the car) The mechanic walks up and takes an old chewed up, worn out, blacked brake pad from his work bench and said, "Here is your pad....it`s in bad shape...you need new brake pads"! I explained to him that could not possibly be my brake pads and he became angry and said he wouldn`t be responsible for my car if I drive it off of their property and something mechanically went wrong. Then I called on the service manager, Bobby Moore and he spoke to his mechanic before speaking with me. After speaking with him he proceeded to raise his voice to me in front of other customers and the service personnel, stating I wasn`t welcome there and he did not want my business since I basically called his mechanic a liar. Now, it seems to me he was angry since I caught them trying to deceive me since I am a woman. Unfortunately for them I am not a stupid woman and have had to take care of my own vehicles for many years. After taking the vehicle from the dealership to an independent Honda mechanic I was advised that I was correct and had a good 5,000 miles left on those brake pads. I had him take them off and I looked at them which confirmed the mechanic at the dealership was trying to make his extra money by selling me something I didn`t need. The long story short on this deal is this.....I spoke to the salesman that sold me the car....he said it wasn`t his problem. The general manager, whom I left numerous phone calls for, never acknowledged my treatment at his dealership. I waited a few months thinking maybe someone would make this right. I have never heard from this dealership except to receive a Christmas greeting today from the salesman. Interesting isn`t it. BE CAUTIOUS AT THIS HONDA DEALERSHIP

Honda Mall of Georgia Cheating Customers
I called Honda Mall of Georgia on Saturday Oct. 25 around 6:00pm. A femal operator answered the phone asked me how to direct my call. I requested to talk to a sales person for a new 2008 Honda Odyssey. Then she connected me to a male called himself Luis. We agreed on a price which sounds every good. So I decided to go in and he reminded me to go immediately because they would be closed at 9:00pm.
Once I got there... view more, the reception (sounded exactly the same as the operator transfered my call) said no one working there named Luis but she confirmed the phone number recorded on my cell phone was theirs. Another sales person immediately said he could help us but there was no way he could sell at the price the person on the phone promissed. Then he and his manager started using all trained technics and trying to sell me a car $3000 more than the priced I was promissed on the phone. Of cause I walked out with anger.
I told what happened to me to some of my friends. And one of them said Honda Mall of Georgia did the same thing to him also. A sales person told him a price on the phone; once he got in there, the sales guy (he used his real name though) totally denied the price he promissed on the phone and tried to make a sale at a much higher price. I don`t know if they only target this practice on people speaking English as a second language, but I have enough reason to believe this is their regular practice. If they did the same thing to me and my friend, they must have done it to many other customers. This kind of behavior is absolutely untollarable, they should not be allowed to get away with it. So I`m calling every one out there, if you had the same experience with Honda Mall of Georgia, please also post it to prevent more inocent people from falling into their traps.
